Description

Insert for ties. The invention relates to an insert for ties. It is known to use cotton flannel, canvas and the like as interlinings for ties, but these fabrics do not have adequate rigidity, so that the tie becomes crumpled and crumpled in the places where the knot is tied after only a short period of use looks bad. This after part is eliminated according to the invention in that the insert is made of a material consisting at least partially of animal fibers.

Such a material has properties that make it particularly suitable for this use in that it has sufficient stiffness, but only so much that the tie can be tied into a knot of appropriate size and strength, with the wrinkles and wrinkles caused during tying Crumple again essentially disappears when the tie is unbound. The deposit can be made either entirely or from animal fiber such. B. made of wool made of cow hair, or the warp of the fabric can be made of cotton and the weft of animal fiber.

If only the weft of the insert consists of animal fiber, it is useful to attach the insert in such a way that the weft is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tie.

In the drawing, two embodiment examples of the subject matter of the invention are illustrated: Fig. 1 shows a tie; Fig. 2 shows part of an insert according to the invention; 3 shows a tie in which the middle part of the tie consists solely of an insert according to the invention.

1 denotes the main part of the tie and 2 the insert around which the main part is folded so that the insert according to FIG. 1 is entirely separated from it. is surrounded. The insert 2 is placed in the middle part of the tie, i.e. H. partly the part that lies around the neck during use and partly the part that is folded when the tie is tied.

As shown in Fig. 2, the insert 2 is provided with strips 3 of a soft fabric, e.g. B. hemmed a thin, narrow cotton ribbon, which strips are sewn on the insert. This ensures that the wear of the main part of the tie caused by the insert is reduced.

The part of the tie that lies around the neck when in use can in certain cases, as shown in FIG. 3, be formed from the insert 2 alone. This ensures that the middle part becomes thinner and can slide more easily between the two layers of double collar.
