Description

  

  Verfahren zur Bremsung von     Kraftfahrzeugen    mit     Viertalzt-Explosionsmotor          durch        Betrieb    desselben als     doppeltwirkender    Kompressor.    Das Hauptpatent beschlägt ein Verfahren  zur Bremsung von Kraftfahrzeugen mit Vier  takt-Explosionsmotor durch Betrieb desselben  als     doppeltwirkender    Kompressor, indem das       Einlassventil    still gelegt und der Zweitakt  durch Steuerung des     Auslassventils    mittelst  des     Auslassnockens    und eines Gegennockens  desselben erreicht wird.  



  Beim Hauptpatent kommt beim Stillegen  des     Einlassventils    der Ventilstössel desselben  nach erfolgter seitlicher Verschiebung des     Ein-          lassnockens    mit seiner     Stösselrolle    auf einen  konzentrischen Bund der Nockenwelle aufzu  sitzen.  



  Nach dem Verfahren, gemäss vorliegendem       Zusatzpatent,    soll eine Vereinfachung dadurch  erzielt werden, dass zwecks     Stillegens    des Ein  lassventils der Ventilstössel desselben nach er  folgter Verschiebung des     Einlassnockens    mittelst  eines Anschlages an seinem oberen Ende gegen  einen in bezug auf die Steuerwelle festen  Punkt anzuliegen kommt.  



  Hierdurch kann der konzentrische Bund  der Nockenwelle in Wegfall kommen, und    der     Ventilstösser    kann in beliebiger Tage fest  gesetzt werden, wenn sein Anschlag verstellbar  gemacht wird.  



  Eine Einrichtung zur Ausführung des er  findungsgemässen Verfahrens ist in beiliegen  der Zeichnung dargestellt.  



  In die Wandung des Motorgehäuses ist  eine jede     Stösselstange    8 führende Büchse 7  eingesetzt, welche mit einem Ringansatz 7 a  auf der Gehäusewandung aufruht. Auf die  Büchse 7 ist ein Pufferring 6     @    aufgesetzt, und  die     Stösselstange    hat als Anschlag zwei auf  geschraubte, einander gegenseitig sichernde  Stellmuttern 9 a und<B>9b,</B> welche auf diesen  Ring aufzusitzen kommen.     Fig.    1 zeigt die  Stellung beim normalen     Motorbetrieb,    wobei  die     Stösselrolle    2 auf dem     Einlassnocken    E der  Steuerwelle<B>S</B> läuft.

   Wird letztere zwecks  voller Motorbremsung um den Betrag     b    wie  in     Fig.    2 gezeigt, seitlich verschoben, so kommt  die     Stösselstange    mit der Stellmutter 9 b auf  den Ring 6 aufzusitzen. Durch Verstellung  der beiden Stellmuttern 9a, 9 b kann der  Anschlag der     Stösselstange    geregelt werden.

  According to the method according to the present additional patent, a simplification is to be achieved in that, for the purpose of shutting down the inlet valve, the valve stem of the same comes to rest against a fixed point with respect to the control shaft after it has been shifted of the inlet cam by means of a stop at its upper end.



  As a result, the concentric collar of the camshaft can be omitted, and the valve tappet can be fixed in any day if its stop is made adjustable.



  A device for performing the method according to the invention is shown in the accompanying drawings.



  In the wall of the motor housing each push rod 8 leading bush 7 is used, which rests with an annular shoulder 7 a on the housing wall. A buffer ring 6 @ is placed on the bush 7, and the push rod has two screwed, mutually locking adjusting nuts 9 a and 9 b, which come to sit on this ring, as a stop. Fig. 1 shows the position during normal engine operation, the tappet roller 2 running on the inlet cam E of the control shaft <B> S </B>.

   If the latter is shifted laterally for the purpose of full engine braking by the amount b as shown in FIG. The stop of the push rod can be regulated by adjusting the two adjusting nuts 9a, 9b.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Bremsung von Kraftfahr zeugen mit Viertakt-Explosionsmotor durch Betrieb desselben als doppeltwirkender Kom pressor, nach dem Patentanspruch des Haupt patentes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwecks Stillegens des Einlassventils der Ventilstössel desselben nach erfolgter Verschiebung des Einlassnockens mittelst eines Anschlages an seinem obern Ende gegen einen in bezug auf die Steuerwelle festen Punkt anzuliegen kommt.
