      Tnsatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 108932.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden,     da.ss    man einen neuen  Farbstoff erhält, wenn man     6-Chlor-2,5-di-          anilidobenzochinon    mit einer Lösung von  Chlor in     Schwefeldichlorid,    entsprechend der  Zusammensetzung     SCh,    und zwar im Ver  hältnis von 1     Mol.        6-Chlor-2,5-dianilidobenzo-          chinon    zu 1     Mol.        SC13,    bei höherer Tempe  ratur behandelt.

   Der neue Farbstoff bildet  ein rotbraunes Pulver, das sich in konzen  trierter Schwefelsäure mit rötlich violetter  Farbe löst und Wolle aus der     Küpe    gelb  braun färbt.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  3,3 Teile     6-Chlor-2,5-dianilidobenzochinon     werden in     etwa    der 20fachen Menge Nitroben  zol suspendiert und dann unter Kühlung bei       etwa   <B>5-10'</B> mit 1,4 Teilen einer Lösung  von Chlor in     Schwefeldichlorid,    entspre  chend der Zusammensetzung     SCl3,    versetzt.  Hierauf wird auf<B>100'</B> erhitzt und das Ge  misch einige Zeit bei dieser Temperatur be-    lassen. Der neue Farbstoff wird sodann  halt filtriert, mit Alkohol nachgewaschen  und getrocknet.

   Die Reaktion kann auch bei  Gegenwart von säurebindenden Mitteln, wie  Kreide,     Mg0    oder dergleichen, durchgeführt  werden.

   The reaction can also be carried out in the presence of acid-binding agents such as chalk, MgO or the like.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 6-Chlor-2,5- dianilidobenzochinon mit einer Lösung von Chlor in Schwefeldichlorid, entsprechend der Zusammensetzung SCl" und zwar im Verhältnis von 1 Mol. 6-Chlor-2,5- dianilidobenzochinon zu 1 Mol. SC13, bei höherer Temperatur behandelt.
