      Zusatzpal;eut    zum Hauptpatent     Nr.   <B>108932.</B>    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man einen neuen  Farbstoff erhält, wenn man     2,5-Dianilido-          benzochinon    mit einer Lösung von Chlor  in     Schwefeldichlorid,    entsprechend der Zu  sammensetzung     SC1s,    und zwar im Verhält  nis von<B>1</B>     Mol.        2,5-Dianilidobenzochinoll    zu  <B><I>Hol.</I></B>     SCI#,'    bei höherer Temperatur behan  delt.

   Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkel  rotbraunes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure mit rotvioletter Farbe löst  und Wolle aus der     Küpe    rotbraun färbt.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  <B>5,8</B> Teile     2,5-Diiinilidobenzochiiion    wer  den in etwa der     20faehen    Menge Nitrobenzol  suspendiert und dann unter Kühlung bei  etwa<B>5</B> bis<B>10 '</B> mit 8,4 Teilen einer Lösung  von Chlor in     Schwefeldichlorid,    entsprechend  der Zusammensetzung     SCI"    versetzt. Hier  auf wird auf<B>100 '</B> erhitzt und das Gemisch  einige Zeit bei dieser Temperatur belassen.    Der neue Farbstoff wird sodann kalt fil  triert, mit Alkohol nachgewaschen und ge  trocknet.

   Die Reaktion kann auch bei Gegen  wart von säurebindenden Mitteln, wie Kreide,  <B>1</B>     -v        1g0        oder        dergleichen,        durchgeführt        werden.
