Description

  Nach beispielsweisen Ausführungsarten  des Verfahrens hergestellte Bürsten sind in  der Zeichnung dargestellt, und zwar zeigt:       Fig.    1 eine Bürste nach einer ersten Aus  führungsform, nebst einer Variante im  Längsschnitt;       Fig.    2 und 3 sind Querschnitte einer       Borstenreihe    nach der Linie     II-II        bezw.          III-III    in     Fig.    1;       Fig.    4 und 5 sind Querschnitte einer       Borstenreihe    von weiteren Ausführungs  formen;

         Fig. 6 und 7 zeigen eine Einzelheit einer weiteren Ausführungsform in Längs- und Stirnansicht.

Fig. 2 zeigt diese Ausführungsform im Querschnitt.

   Additional patent to the main patent No. 113523. TOI-drive for the production of brush goods. The main patent relates to a process for the production of brush goods with in elongated. Wells of a flexible body, inserted rows of bristles, according to which the brush body is made from a single piece, in which the wells are formed as side-by-side grooves which, after the rows of bristles have been inserted, are each narrowed individually so that the bristles are held by clamping action .

  The present invention relates to a further embodiment of this method in that resilient inserts are introduced into the grooves, which after the narrowing of the grooves exert a permanent elastic pressure on the bristles in order to clamp them more tightly.

  The resilient inserts can consist of elastic material, such as rubber, or of metal strips, which are given a shape such that they are resilient. The bristles, which are pressed elastically in this way, are also in the event of slight deformations of the brush body or the groove walls held and protected from falling out ge.

  Brushes produced according to exemplary embodiments of the method are shown in the drawing, namely: FIG. 1 shows a brush according to a first embodiment, together with a variant in longitudinal section; 2 and 3 are cross sections of a row of bristles along the line II-II respectively. III-III in Figure 1; Figures 4 and 5 are cross-sections of a row of bristles of further embodiment forms;

         6 and 7 show a detail of a further embodiment in longitudinal and end views.

  When producing the brush provided in Fig. 1 to 3 is as follows: On a metal wire 12 serving as a solid core, a sheath made of rubber, for example a hose 13, is pulled on. Together with the core piece thus formed, the bristles 11 are inserted into the groove of the brush body 10 and secured in a known manner by narrowing the grooves. By narrowing the grooves, the rubber casing is pressed together and thereby exerts elastic pressure on the bristles. Fig. 2 shows this embodiment in cross section.

  Instead of, as in Fig. 1, loosely strung together on the left, the bristles 11 can also be used, as illustrated in the right half of the figure, combined in bundles. In this case, insert rings 1d are placed as spacers between the individual bristle bundles, which is shown in cross section in FIG. 3.

  When producing the embodiment indicated in Fig. 4, the bristles 11 are strung on a full, elastic core 15 made of rubber.

  In the manufacture of the brush according to FIG. 5, the bristles 11 are lined up on a Me talldraht 12 and surrounded by an elastic sheath 16 made of rubber, which lays the groove wall when narrowing the grooves.

       @Fig. 6 and 7 indicate a manufacturing manner in which a longitudinally slotted metal tube 17 is used as the core, which thanks to the longitudinal slot is resilient and provides the necessary elastic contact pressure.
