Turning device on casting devices for printing plates. In the known casting devices, the material used during casting holds a raised, narrow edge embossing around the edge through the grooves of the closing bars in the closing frame during calendering, while the edge itself continues smoothly without embossing. When casting the printing plates, there is more of the disadvantage that the casting passes over the narrow edge embossing and forms flesh at the same height as the writing, which must be removed by bumping or twisting.
The present invention is a sealing device on casting devices for printing plates, which is intended to avoid this disadvantage. This is achieved in that the Mater is provided with a bunse on its edge all around, and the laterally movable adjustable casting ring is formed so that it rests tightly with its inner edge on the apex of the bunse when the Giessvor direction is closed, so that an overlapping of the cast is excluded.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is illustrated by two exemplary embodiments, namely: FIG. 1 shows a partial) section through a first example, and FIG. 2 shows a) section through the second embodiment.
The material b is placed on the cast base a, which has received a strong arched elevation on the edge during calendering, the so-called edge embossing or bunse c. The casting ring d laterally adjoins the mater b, the inner edge of which is formed in such a way that it rests tightly along the apex of the bunse c so that the casting f cannot pass over this apex. The casting ring d can be adjusted laterally by means of adjusting screws g. From above, the whole thing is covered by the cast cover h.
It is not necessary to place the raised bunse c underneath, as the mater is firmly clamped on all sides.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, the terminating edge i of the casting ring d has a sharp, curved strip 7c which extends over the apex of the bunse c. When the cast cover h slams shut, the strip k is pressed into the softer bun c so that the material b and the casting ring d can no longer move against each other.
