Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr.<B>105237.</B> Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefelfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man die Leukover- bindung des Indophenols aus Carbazol und Nitrosophenol in Gegenwart von Anilin und von Harnstoff, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz eines Substrates, wie Kochsalz oder Natrium sulfat, mit Schwefel bei höherer Temperatur behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkelblaues Pulver, gibt mit Hydrosulfit und Natronlauge eine hellgelbe Küpe, aus welcher Baumwolle in wasch-, licht- und chlorechten, blauen Tönen gefärbt wird.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 27,2 Teile des Indophenols, erhalten durch Kondensation von Nitrosophenol mit Carbazol, werden in eine konzentrierte Polysulfidlösung bestehend aus 29 Teilen kristallisiertem Natriumsulfid, 8 Teilen Schwefel, 15 bis 20 Teilen Wasser eingetragen und gerührt, bis das Indophenol vollständig reduziert ist.
