Description
Verfahren -zur Herstellung eines neuen Itüpenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass .man einen neuen Küpenfarbstoff erhält, wenn man Schwefel di.chlorid (S Ch) auf 2,5-Di-p-oxyanilido- benzochinon bei höherer Temperatur einwir ken lä.sst. Die Reaktion wird zweckmässig in Gegenwart von Verdünnungsmitteln, wie Ni- trobenzol, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart von säurebindend en Mitteln, durchgeführt.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein schwarzbraunes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefel säure mit blauer Farbe löst und Wolle aus der Hydrosulfitküpe in schwarzoliven Nuan cen f ärbt.
Beispiel: 8 Teile 2,5=Di-p-oxya-nili:d@obenzo.chin:on, suspendiert in 120 Teilen Nitrobenzol, werden bei 5 mit 10,1 Teilen Schwe-fel,diclnlorirl (S<B>02)</B> versetzt, in drei Stunden bis auf 100 bis 110 erwärmt und drei Stunden bei dieser Temperatur unter Rühren belassen. Nach dem Erkalten wird filtriert, gewaschen und getrocknet.

The new dye forms a black-brown powder that dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue color and dyes wool from the hydrosulfite vat in black olive nuanced colors.
