  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Azofarbstofes.       Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung  ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Azo-          farbstoffes,    den man durch Kupplung der       Diazoverbindung    von     1,3-Dimethyl-4-amino-          2,6-dichlorbenzol    mit     2-Oxynaphtalin-3-carbon-          säui-e-2'-methoxy-1'-ariilid    erhält.  



       Beispiel:     Die aus 19 kg     1,3-Diinethyl-4-amino-2,6-          dichlorbenzol    in üblicher Weise dargestellte       Diazoverbindung    lässt man unter Rühren in  eine wässerige     Suspension    von 29,5 kg     2-Oxy-          naphtalin-3-carborisäure-2'-methoxy-1'-ariilid,     bereitet durch Auflösen desselben in Natron  lauge und Wiederausfällen mit verdünnter  Essigsäure, einlaufen. Der     Farbstoff    scheidet  sich als roter Niederschlag aus. Er wird  filtriert, gewaschen und getrocknet.  



  Der Farbstoff soll besonders als Ent  wicklungsfarbstoff verwendet werden. Er gibt    ein gelbstickiges Rot und besitzt die wich  tige Eigenschaft, dass er zur Erzeugung von  ganz hervorragend lichtechten und sehr gut       laugenkochechten    gelbstickigen Rottönen  dienen kann.

  The dye should be used especially as a development dye. It gives a yellowish red and has the important property that it can be used to produce extremely lightfast and very good caustic-proof yellowish red tones.

Der Farbstoff stellt ein rotes Pulver dar und eignet sich besonders gut "zur Erzeu gung von ganz hervorragend lichtechten und sehr gut laugenkochechten, gelbstickigen Rot tönen.
