Hierbei kann sein a < 1 (teil weise Kompensation), a = 1 (genaue Kom pensation) oder a > 2 (Überkompensation).
Fig. 1 beiliegender Zeichnung betrifft ein Ausführungsbeispiel der zusätzlichen Erfin dung und unterscheidet sich von Fig. 3 der Hauptpatentschrift dadurch, dass die Drossel spulen<I>L"</I> die Primärwicklungen<I>b"</I> von p Transformatoren bilden, deren Sekundärwick lungen c" durch die gut leitende Polygon verbindung vr <I>. . . .</I> vp elektrisch . verkettet sind.
EMI0002.0020
in Verallgemeinerung der Formeln (1) und (2) der Hauptpatentschrift. Die Gegenindaktivi- äten M" der Transformatoren b", <I>c"</I> seien einander gleich.
Der ohmsche Widerstand der Sekundärwicklungen c" und der Polygon verbindung vi <I>. . . .</I> vp sei vernachlässigbar. In den Transformatoren seien überhaupt ohmsche Widerstände, Eisenverluste und Streuungen vernachlässigbar. Unter diesen Umständen lässt sich das Verhalten des Gan zen folgendermassen beschreiben Im ungestörten Betrieb ist der Nullpunkt 0' spannungslos und die Drosselspule L strom los;
es gilt daher 1 j" =<I>0 =</I> -y <I>j'";</I> folglich verschwindet auch die Summe
EMI0002.0034
der in den Sekundärwicklungen c" von den Primärströmen j', induzierten Spannungen; in den Wicklungen c" und in der Polygon verbindung vi <B>....</B> v. fliesst somit kein Strom;
die Stromverteilung ist also wie nach Fig. 3 der Hauptpatentschrift; es gilt j'n <I>= a j",</I> (1 - a) j", mit

durch die Drosselspule L, und zwar infolge der Beziehung (1'), sowie des glücklichen Umstandes, dass auch der Nullpunkt 0' das zusätzliche Potential -U annimmt;
letzteres kommt . daher, dass sich die verlust- und streuungsfrei angenommenen Transformatoren b", en praktisch im Kurzachlusszustand be finden und daher keine merklichen zusätz lichen Spannungen an ihren Primärwick lungen b" entstehen, trotzdem dem gemein samen Sekundärstrom j" zusätzliche Primär ströme entsprechen;
aus der Überlagerung des erst geschilderten und des zusätzlichen Strom- und Spannungszustandes ergibt sich ein resultierender Zustand, in welchem sowohl der Strom jp als das Potential des Leiters lp Null werden und welcher ausserhalb der Stromquelle 0 ai, a2 <I>. . . .</I> a. (deren Null punkt das Potential -ep bekommt) identisch mit dem tatsächlich bei Kurzschluss der Ka pazität KP eintretenden Strom- und Span nungszustand ist;
Die Spulen<I>b"</I> seien iden tisch, ebenso die Spulen r",. . . . VP stromlos bleiben; in Formel (2') ist dann links
EMI0003.0036
Device for suppressing the quasi-stationary earth fault current in AC networks. In Fig. 2 and 3, along with formulas (2) and (3) of the patent specification of the main patent, a device for suppressing the quasi-stationary earth fault current on AC networks specified embodiments, through which the charging currents of the network capacities were compensated to earth even in undisturbed operation; in the case of FIG. 3, overcompensation even occurred by changing the ratio of a j '. to j "turned out to be greater than 1.
The fact that according to FIG. 2 that compensation was exact (a = 1) was indicated in the fourth paragraph of page 3.
That according to FIG. 3 the compensation with
EMI0001.0013
entered, you can see when you have noticed or proven by a mathematical analysis that in this case the choke coil L remained de-energized; the ratio -a of -i '"to j" was then equal to the ratio of admittance
EMI0001.0017
to admittance
EMI0001.0019
The fact that a turned out to be greater than 1 results from the fact that formula (3) gave a smaller value for L "than formula (2).
In the mentioned paragraph it was emphasized that the voltage of a choke coil Ln of FIG. 2 could be higher in the event of a ground fault than in undisturbed operation; this also applies to the coils L ″ of FIG. 3, although to a lesser extent (due to the presence of the coil L).
Were therefore the choke coils L ″ of FIGS. 2 and 3 calculated so that they were normally stressed at the increased voltage, both with regard to insulation and with regard to the amplitude of the magnetic intensity, which amplitude might correspond to the maximum permeability; so they turned out to be larger than usual choke coils, which are only intended to serve for the said compensation and are therefore only calculated for the low voltage.
In order to avoid this disadvantage, the subject of the present additional patent application is a device according to sub-claim 3 of the main patent, in which the p inductors located between the individual phases and a zero point in undisturbed operation at least partially compensate the charging currents of the network capacities to earth and the primary winding lungs of p transformers form; the secondary windings of which are electrically linked by a highly conductive polygonal connection, in such a way that the latter remains de-energized in undisturbed operation and, in the event of a ground fault, exerts a short-circuit effect which counteracts an increase in the voltages of those p inductors.
It can be a <1 (partial compensation), a = 1 (exact compensation) or a> 2 (overcompensation).
Fig. 1 of the accompanying drawings relates to an embodiment of the additional inven tion and differs from Fig. 3 of the main patent specification in that the choke coils <I> L "</I> the primary windings <I> b" </I> of p transformers form whose secondary windings c "are electrically. linked by the highly conductive polygon connection vr <I>.... </I> vp.
The line cables are marked with l ", the windings of the power source, ie the seats of the electromotive forces e" with a ", the zero point of the power source with 0. Counting arrows are still for the parts i" flowing through a "of the charging currents j", as well as for the stream <I> j "</I> in the polygon connection vi <B> .... </B> vr.
The inductance L of the inductor L marked with the same letter and the self-inductances L "of the primary windings b" are not calculated according to formula (3) of the main patent specification, but rather simply according to
EMI0002.0020
in generalization of formulas (1) and (2) of the main patent specification. Let the mutual activities M "of the transformers b", <I> c "</I> be equal to one another.
The ohmic resistance of the secondary windings c "and the polygon connection vi <I>.... </I> vp is negligible. In the transformers, ohmic resistance, iron losses and scattering are negligible. Under these circumstances, the behavior of the whole can be neglected describe as follows In undisturbed operation, the zero point 0 'is de-energized and the inductor L is de-energized;
therefore 1 j "= <I> 0 = </I> -y <I> j '"; </I> consequently the sum also disappears
EMI0002.0034
the voltages induced by the primary currents j 'in the secondary windings c "; in the windings c" and in the polygon connection vi <B> .... </B> v. so no electricity flows;
the current distribution is as shown in FIG. 3 of the main patent specification; j'n <I> = a j ", </I> (1 - a) j", with
EMI0002.0043
here the potential of the conductor 1p assumes a certain value c (the calculation he would give
EMI0002.0046
In the event of a ground fault in the conductor lp, the current and voltage state of the device without ground fault just described is superimposed by an additional, single-phase, current and voltage state of this device without a ground fault,
which is defined by the fact that an additional electromotive force is introduced into each of the windings a ", which receives the potential of the conductor <I> l" </I> to the additional value -u; these electromotive forces drive an additional current of the vectorial amount through each of the capacitances .Kn -
EMI0002.0056
the sum
EMI0002.0057
this stream is now equal to the stream
EMI0002.0058
through the choke coil L, due to the relationship (1 '), as well as the fortunate circumstance that the zero point 0' also assumes the additional potential -U;
the latter is coming. Therefore, the transformers b ", en assumed to be lossless and leak-free, are practically in the short-circuit state and therefore no noticeable additional voltages arise on their primary windings b", although additional primary currents correspond to the common secondary current j ";
The superimposition of the above-mentioned and the additional current and voltage state results in a resulting state in which both the current jp and the potential of the conductor lp become zero and which outside the current source 0 ai, a2 <I>. . . . </I> a. (whose zero point gets the potential -ep) is identical to the current and voltage state actually occurring in the event of a short circuit in the capacitance KP;
if jp disappears, then j. equal to the sum of the capacity flows j. the p-1 other phases, and this applies without the voltages of the windings b ″ being noticeably increased by the earth fault that has occurred.
If condition (d ') were not met, the superposition used would be impermissible; the relationship J1 '= J "would not exist (in reality then, in the event of an earth fault, Jp = Yes - J").
In the special case where all capacities Kn are equal, the simplification results that the potential of the zero point 0 of the current source also becomes zero in undisturbed operation; the voltage of the winding b "is thereby equal to the phase voltage e".
In order to facilitate the setting of the inductances L "without changing the common mutual inductance M in the general case where the capacities .g" are unequal, each secondary winding c "can, for example, according to FIG Close the corresponding adjustable throttle coil <I> d "</I>.
The coils <I> b "</I> are identical, as are the coils r",. In undisturbed operation, secondary currents then exist through the coils c "and d", while the line sections vi, v2. . . . VP remain de-energized; in formula (2 ') is then on the left
EMI0003.0036
where S is the common self-inductance of the coils bn and, S "means the sum of the self-inductances of the two coils c" and d ".
In the event of a ground fault, the above-described short-circuit effect occurs again via <B> ei, </B> vi, c2, z # 2. . . . c. "vp a.
The <I> p </I> transformers <I> b ", c" </I> can have p iron cores which are combined into a common multiphase iron core by a common magnetic yoke. This saves space and weight.
