      Verfahren    zur Darstellung einer Verbindung mit hydriertem Ringsystem.         (-xiegenstand    dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen     hydro-          aromatischen        o-Dicarbonsäure-anhydrids,    wel  ches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man       Diphenylfulven    mit     1Vfaleicrsäureanhydrid    kon  densiert. Die neue Verbindung soll zur Her  stellung von Farbstoffen; pharmazeutischen  Produkten und     Riechstoffen    verwendet werden.

    <I>Beispiel</I>  230 Gewichtsteile     Dipherrylfulverr    und 98  Gewichtsteile     Maleinsäureanhydrid    werden in  Benzol gelöst und eine halbe Stunde lang  zum Sieden erhitzt, wobei die Farbe vom  dunklen ins helle Rot übergeht. Nach dem       Abdunsten    des Benzols wird zweimal aus  Essigester umkristallisiert. Das neue Produkt  bildet rein weisse Kristalle vom Schmelzpunkt    168  . Das neue Produkt ist durch Zusammen  lagerung je eines Moleküls der Ausgangs  materialien     entstanden.
