Zweitaktverbrennungskraftmasuhine.
Two-stroke internal combustion engine. The present invention relates to a two-stroke internal combustion engine in which the exhaust is controlled by a rotating flap and the other control elements are operated by a control shaft. According to the invention, the control shaft of the flap is arranged opposite on the working cylinder and the control shaft and flap are driven by a shaft between them through a helical gear with a common primary wheel.
This ensures that only three wheels are required to drive the flap and control shaft through the intermediate shaft, while all other types of drive would require more wheels. The control shaft can work at the same speed as the flap, whereby the entire drive is designed symmetrically and both secondary wheels receive the same dimensions. It is best to run the control shaft and flap at half the speed of the crankshaft, which, in addition to the very smooth gear of the entire control, achieves a small primary wheel and thus a compact design of the entire control drive.
An embodiment of the subject invention is brought to the drawing for Dar position.
a is a working cylinder, b the crankcase c the crankshaft and d the control shaft of a vertical two-stroke internal combustion engine, in which the exhaust of the combustion gases is controlled by a circumferential flap e becomes. Flushing and combustion air is supplied by an annular flushing pump piston attached to the bottom of the working piston l, from which it is sucked in through the opening ra and conveyed through the pressure chamber o through the slots p into the working cylinder.
The control shaft is arranged opposite the flap e on the working cylinder and the flap and control shaft are driven by a shaft f between them through screw gears, the secondary gears g of which engage in a common seat of the primary gear h on the shaft f. The shaft f is driven by bevel gears i from the crankshaft. The control shaft and flap run at the same speed, so that both secondary wheels have the same dimensions. The control shaft is provided with two cams k offset from one another by 180 for each control member to be operated by it, and the flap acts in such a way that it releases the exhaust cross section at every half revolution.
The control shaft and flap work at half the rotational speed of the crankshaft, which, in addition to a very smooth course of the entire control, results in small dimensions for the primary wheel and thus a compact design of the drive.
