Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Zellulosederivates. Es wurde gefunden, dass die Halogen- cyane, wie zum Beispiel Brom- oder Chlor- cyan, mit Zellulose, welche vorher mit einem Alkali, wie Atzalkalilaugen oder Pottasche lösung, behandelt worden ist, unter Bildung eines neuen Produktes reagieren, welches sich durch eine vortreffliche Affinität zu sauren Farbstoffen auszeichnet.
Das Produkt kann als Rohstoff zur Her stellung von Textilfasern verwendet werden. Indessen wird der Schutz für das angegebene Verfahren nur soweit beansprucht, als es sich nicht um eine für die Textilindustrie in Betracht kommende Behandlung von Tex tilfasern zum Zwecke von deren Veredlung handelt.
<I>Beispiel 1:</I> Man imprägniert 10 Teile Baumwolle in 10 % iger alkoholischer Natronlauge, presst aus und behandelt das Garn in einer Lösung von 5 bis 10 Teilen Bromcyan in Benzol in der Kälte. Man spült in heissem Wasser und trocknet. <I>Beispiel 2:</I> Man imprägniert 10 'heile Zellulose in 10%iger alkoholischer \ atronlauge, presst ab und behandelt das Material in einer Lö sung von 5 bis 10 Teilen Bromcyan in Ben zol in Gegenwart von organischen Basen, wie Diäthylamin, Diäthyläthylendiamin. Piperi- din und andere. Man spült in heissem Was ser und trocknet.
<I>Beispiel 3:</I> Man imprägniert 10 Teile Baumwolle in 10%iger alkoholischer Natronlauge, presst aus und behandelt in einer Lösung von bis 10 Teilen Chlorcyan in Benzol in der Kälte. Hierauf wird heiss gespült und ge trocknet.
<I>Beispiel I:</I> Man imprägniert 100 Teile Zellulose in 40%iger wässeriger Pottaschelösung, presst ab und behandelt die Ware in einer Lösung von 30 Teilen Bromcyan in Benzol in der Kälte. Man spült in heissem Wasser und trocknet.
