Description
2-Naphtalinsulfamid erhalten.
Process for the preparation of a Kdipen dye. It has been found that one can obtain a valuable oil, namely aminodi- ehloranthraehinonakridon of the formula:
EMI0001.0005
can be obtained if one uses the Swiss procedure. Patent No. 56472 available vat dye reacts with acid amides and the resulting conversion product soaps ver with cleavage of the acyl radical.
The dye supplies a violet vat and dyes cotton in violet tones, which turn into a very greenish, true blue when hung in the air.
<I> Example 1: </I> 4 parts of the vat dye produced according to the method of Swiss patent specification no. <B> 56472 </B> are mixed with 1. 8 parts of p-toluenesulfamide, 0.6 part of anhydrous sodium acetate, 0.05 part of copper acetate and 20 parts of nitrobenzene are heated to the boil with stirring. The starting material goes into solution, the reaction mass turns violet very quickly. As soon as the intensity of the coloration no longer increases, which is the case after a very short heating, the mass is allowed to cool, which solidifies into a crystal pulp. It is diluted with alcohol, filtered off with suction, washed with alcohol, the residue is boiled with water and a little dilute hydrochloric acid and dried.
The reaction product obtained crystallizes from dichlorobenzene in beautiful, copper-glossy, violet needles and presumably represents the p-toluenesulfonic acid compound of 4-amino-2'.4'-dichloroanthraquinone acridone. It dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a brownish-red color and yields with alkaline hydrosulfite solution a wine-red vat from which the cotton is dyed in wine-red tones that change to purple when hung and washed.
1 part of the reaction product obtained is introduced into 10 parts of concentrated sulfuric acid; the solution is heated to 80 C for a short time, then poured into water and a green-blue precipitate is obtained. The dye obtained can easily be used for dyeing after filtering and washing out the sulfuric acid.
<I> Example 2: </I> If in the above approach the p-toluenesulfamide is replaced by the same amount of benzamide, a blue-violet dye is formed, presumably 4-benzoylamino-2 '. 4'-dichloranthraquinone acridone, which can be purified by dissolving it from dichlorobenzene or nitrobenzene. The product forms very beautiful dark purple, shiny needles that dissolve in concentrated sulfuric acid with a brown-red color. Cotton is dyed in real, blue-violet tones from the violet vat.
1 part of the reaction product obtained is introduced into 10 parts of concentrated sulfuric acid and the solution obtained is heated to about 90 ° C. until the saponification is complete. The reaction product is poured into water, the dye precipitating in green-blue flakes, and it is worked up in the usual way. The product obtained in this way has practically the same properties as that of Example 1. Example 3: 5 parts of the starting material used in the preceding examples are boiled for a few hours with 2.5 parts of benzenesulfonic acid amide, 2.5 parts of soda, 0.2 part of copper chloride and 50 parts of nitrobenzene.
The reaction product is filtered off with suction, washed with nitrobenzene and the residue is treated with steam with the addition of hydrochloric acid.
1 part of the reaction product obtained (presumably 4-benzenesulfamino-2 '. 4'-dichloroantlirachinonakridone) is dissolved in 10 parts of concentrated sulfuric acid. The solution is warmed to approx. <B> 80 '</B> C and the saponification product is precipitated by pouring the solution into water which corresponds to the dyes according to the above examples.
The same dye is also produced, for example, by saponifying the reaction products prepared in an analogous manner from the dye according to Switzerland. Patent specification no. <B> 56472 </B> and 4-chlorobenzenesulfamide respectively. Obtained 2-naphthalene sulfamide.
