Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 14153i;. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallhaltigen Farbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen metallhaltigen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man den Farbstoff auf diazotiertem 4-Sulfamido- 2-amino-l-phenol und ss-Naphthol in Ge genwart von Alkalien mit einem aluminium- und kobaltabgebenden Mittel behandelt.
Der metallhaltige Farbstoff löst sieh mit rotvioletter Farbe in Wasser oder Natron lauge, ebenso in konzentrierter Schwefel säure oder in organischen Lösungsmitteln. Aus der Lösung in Nitro- oder Acetylzellu- loselack erhält man auf Metallfolien licht echte, rotviolette Überzüge.
Beispiel: 6,88 Teile des Farbstoffes aus diazotier- tem 4-Sulfamido-2-amino-l-phenol und ss Naphthol werden in 40,0 Teilen Wasser und 5 Teilen Natronlauge gelöst und mit einer aus 1,7 Teilen Aluminiumsulfat, 2,38 Tei len kristallisiertem Kobaltchlorid, 50 Teilen Wasser und 20 Teilen Natronlauge erhal tenen Metallhydroxydsuspension zwei Stun- den zum Sieden erhitzt. Nach dem Erkalten wird mit Essigsäure neutralisiert und der Farbstoff durch Zugabe von etwas Kochsalz völlig abgeschieden, fitriert und getrocknet.

It has been found that a new metal-containing dye is obtained if the dye is treated on diazotized 4-sulfamido-2-amino-1-phenol and ß-naphthol in the presence of alkalis with an aluminum and cobalt donor.
The metal-containing dye dissolves with a red-violet color in water or caustic soda, as well as in concentrated sulfuric acid or in organic solvents. From the solution in nitro or acetyl cellulose lacquer, real, red-violet coatings are obtained on metal foils.
Example: 6.88 parts of the dye from diazotized 4-sulfamido-2-amino-1-phenol and ss naphthol are dissolved in 40.0 parts of water and 5 parts of sodium hydroxide solution and treated with a 1.7 parts of aluminum sulfate, 2, 38 parts of crystallized cobalt chloride, 50 parts of water and 20 parts of sodium hydroxide solution obtained metal hydroxide suspension heated to boiling for two hours. After cooling, it is neutralized with acetic acid and the dye is completely separated off by adding a little common salt, filtered and dried.
