Description
Method of manufacturing a lotion for maintaining the hair. The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a lotion for maintaining the hair.
Here is, for example, how we can operate to prepare 10 liters of lotion Put 3 liters of water in a large pot, bring to the boil.
Place a container with a very perforated bottom on the pot, not touching the water. Put in this container 200 gr of fresh nettles, cover with the lid of the pot, and leave the nettles exposed to the steam, on fire, for 10 minutes, turning them once or twice to soften them; remove them and macerate in 2 liters of lees brandy, in large jars, for 10 days.
After this time, remove the liquid and squeeze the leaves well to remove all their juice. In this way approximately 2 liters of solution are obtained.
Do the same with sage leaves, hair and roma rin, but with the proportions shown below. It is best to do this operation with green plants that have more flavor.
But when the season does not allow it, and we have to resort to dry plants, we will have to leave them 5 minutes more on the steam, and we will obtain a slightly smaller quantity of solution.
It is important that each species of plant is subjected to steam separately. For 10 liters of lotion, use 200 gr of nettles, 100 gr of sage, 150 gr of capillary, 150 gr of rosemary.
This gives about 2 liters of solution from each plant. The four solutions are each put in a bottle separately, so you have everything ready on hand and with little embarrassment.
To prepare 1 liter of lotion, we take 200 grams of each of these solutions, which corresponds to approximately 2 deciliters, we put the whole in a bottle of one liter, then we add 3 gr of crystallized menthol, we shake the bottle for a minute to melt the menthol and fill it with good lees brandy. The lotion is ready for use.
