Device for remote transmission of 1Vless sizes. The present invention relates to a device for the remote transmission of measured variables and has the advantage that even very brief changes in the position of the indicator of the transmitter instrument are also displayed on the receiving station.
For this purpose, the device works according to the invention according to the fast regulator principle known for voltage and speed regulation of electrical Ma machines. As is well known, this consists in the fact that the regulating variable (for example the excitation current) is set when the regulated variable (for example the voltage) drops to an amount that corresponds to a value of the regulated variable that is above the target amount, so that this increases as quickly as that and that immediately, when the target amount is exceeded, the game is repeated in the opposite direction.
An exemplary embodiment is shown in Fig. 1. There is a resistor 1, the sliding contact 2 of which is attached to the pointer of a measuring instrument (not shown) and is adjusted by it according to its position. The voltage of a battery 3, which also feeds the circuit consisting of the resistors 4 and 5, the line 6 and the receiving instrument 7, is applied to the resistor 1. A polarized relay 8 with contact 9 is also provided. This is switched so that the resistor 5 located in the long-distance line is short-circuited in one position of the relay armature.
Please note for the mode of operation. that the relay 8 plays continuously, that is, its contact 9 is alternately open and closed. The resistor 5 lying in the long-distance line 6 is therefore switched on and short-circuited alternately. The point A has a potential which is on average equal to that of the point B, but actually experiences a deviation from this value every time the relay 8 responds. The scarf device of the relay 8 is made. that when point A has a positive potential compared to point B, i.e. the current flows in the direction of the arrow, contact 9 opens.
As a result, the resistor 5 is switched on in the long-distance line circuit and causes a sinking of the current, which lasts until the potential of point B is higher than that of point A, so that the relay is flowed through in the opposite direction of the arrow, whereby the Contact 9 how it closes. This switches off the resistance of the long-distance line circuit, i.e. the potential from point A to point: B is increased again. The mean current strength in resistor 4, which determines the potential of point A, is therefore a measure of the position of contact 2 on resistor 1, that is to say it is a measure of the pointer position to be transmitted. This current strength is measured by the ammeter 7 at the end of the long-distance line.
In the event that particularly large currents are to be transmitted remotely, which is necessary, for example, for the operation of remote control devices, the remote measuring device described is expediently combined with a direct current generator. A circuit suitable for this is shown in a further exemplary embodiment (FIG. 2).
The parts already mentioned are available again. The resistor 9, the sliding contact 10 of which is adjusted by the measuring instrument, the resistor 11 in the course of the trunk line 17, the polarized relay 12, which is switched in the same way as above, both with respect to its field winding, as well as with respect to to its contact 13, which is parallel to the resistor 14. The DC generator is located with its armature 16 in the circle of the long-distance line (armature 16, resistor 11, long-distance line 17, receiving instrument 18), with its excitation winding 19 in series with the resistor 14.
The arrangement works in exactly the same way as the above with the only difference that the resistor 14 bridged by the relay contact 13 controls the excitation current of the DC machine, which in turn first supplies the current for the remote transmission. This arrangement is.
also particularly advantageous in that the generator does not need to be driven at constant speed, because a BEZW from a decrease in speed. -increase resulting change, the long-distance line flow from a corresponding reduction resp. Enlargement of the mean potential of point A is accompanied.
the one increase respectively. Decrease in the current of the field winding 19 of the auxiliary generator and thus again an increase respectively. Reduction of the generator voltage.
Corresponding circuits are possible for the combination of the sensor equipment with an alternator. With these, however, either the drive must be carried out with a constant number of revolutions, with point A then being in the excitation circuit instead of in the long-distance circuit, or the function of relay 12 must be taken over by a differential relay.
Such a differential relay has two coils, one of which is connected to the upper part of the resistor 9, and the other of which is connected to a resistor which is connected in series with the alternating current generator and the trunk line. The contact device of the differential relay is also 1.e- switched, as in Fig. 2. The mode of operation does not differ significantly from that of Fig. 2, since, as there, the voltage drop along the upper part of the resistor 9 is compared with the voltage drop along the resistor connected upstream of the generator becomes.
The details of the arrangement described can be modified in various ways.
For example, the polarized pole can be replaced by a non-polarized one, the one with a valve cell, for example a small dry rectifier. lies in grater. Fig. 3 shows a corresponding circuit device. 19 is the valve cell, 20 the winding of the relay, 21 its contact, which is kept closed by the spring 22 when the winding remains de-energized, 5 respectively. 14 the resistor denoted by these numbers in Figs. 1 and 2. If there is a higher potential at point A, the valve cell 19 is permeable, the relay 20 is energized and the contact 21 is opened.
If there is a higher potential at point B, the valve cell is impermeable, the relay remains de-energized, its contact 21 remains closed. Since the contact 21 behaves exactly like that of a polarized relay when there is a change in potential, the mode of operation explained above remains unchanged.
Of course, the voltage applied to the long-distance line can also be used for transmission using the same method; the receiving instruments are then ordinary voltage meters.
