Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung einer homogenen blasse. Im Hauptpatent ist die Darstellung eines homogenen Harzes durch Vereinigung des Polymerisationsproduktes von Vinylacetat mit dem Kondensationsprodukt aus Phenol und Formaldehyd beschrieben.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man in gleicher Weise ein ebenso wertvolles homo genes Harz erhalten kann, wenn man das Polymerisationsprodukt von Vinylchloracetat mit dem Kondensationsprodukt aus Phenol und Formaldehyd vereinigt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 50 Gewichtsteile Polyvinylchloracetat wer den in einer Mischung von 100 Gewichts teilen Aceton und 140 Gewichtsteilen Benzol gelöst; ebenso werden 150 Gewichtsteile Phenol-Formaldehydharz (sogen. Bakelit A) in 350 Gewichtsteilen Sprit gelöst. Die bei den Lösungen werden vermischt, wobei die erhaltene Lösung klar bleibt. Sie stellt einen Lack dar, dessen Filme sich durch Elastizität und Wasserbeständigkeit auszeichnen. Man kann den erhaltenen Lack auch mit einem Zelluloseesterlack oder Zelluloseätherlack kom binieren.
Man kann die beiden Harze auch ohne Anwendung von Lösungsmitteln in einer Knetmaschine zweckmässig bei einer Tem peratur, die oberhalb des Klebepunktes-der Harze liegt, vermischen.
Method of rendering a homogeneous pale. The main patent describes the preparation of a homogeneous resin by combining the polymerisation product of vinyl acetate with the condensation product of phenol and formaldehyde.
It has now been found that an equally valuable homogeneous resin can be obtained in the same way if the polymerization product of vinyl chloroacetate is combined with the condensation product of phenol and formaldehyde.
<I> Example: </I> 50 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloroacetate who dissolved in a mixture of 100 parts by weight of acetone and 140 parts by weight of benzene; 150 parts by weight of phenol-formaldehyde resin (so-called Bakelite A) are also dissolved in 350 parts by weight of fuel. The two solutions are mixed, the resulting solution remaining clear. It is a varnish whose films are characterized by elasticity and water resistance. The varnish obtained can also be combined with a cellulose ester varnish or cellulose ether varnish.
The two resins can also be mixed without using solvents in a kneading machine, expediently at a temperature which is above the adhesive point of the resins.
