Description

   - OB, Wecker W, geschlos sener Kontakt ri, Ruhekontakt HL', Kontakt + OB.

Relais L'. Arbeitskontakt b.i, Ruhekontakt 1a4. - OB.

Telecommunication system with several stations located on a common line, which can optionally communicate with each other. The invention relates to Fernmeldean systems, such as telephone systems, with several stations lying on a common line (company line) that can optionally enter into communication with one another. The first dial-up telephony systems of this type were mostly operated with crank inductors, which were arranged in the subscriber stations and were used to influence the step switching devices arranged in the stations.

However, because of the low energies that could be generated with the inductors, these systems had only a limited usability. Central power sources that are controlled by the individual stations were therefore used for larger systems. The direct current sources initially used in these systems were later replaced by alternating current sources in order to be able to use transformers in the power line.

But since such a system has the disadvantage. It has already been suggested that if the central power source is disturbed or the line is damaged, all or part of the traffic will be made impossible, every station should be included. to be connected to the alternating current network and from this di (, energy to operate the system.

However, such an arrangement is also unreliable in certain cases, especially when it comes to lines. which (such as the traffic lines of power stations or electric rail companies) are laid on the rods of Iloch voltage overhead lines for economic reasons. It can then happen that in the event of a fault (e.g. damage to the high-voltage line), the power supply to the subscriber stations supplied from the same network is also disturbed. The disturbance occurs precisely when the telecommunications system is most urgently needed.

In such cases, other alternating current sources, such as, for example, in ductors, cannot be used as an auxiliary power source. since the receiving relays are usually tied to the mains frequency feed.

All these difficulties are eliminated according to the invention in that the system is operated with direct current induction currents and each station is assigned a direct current source and a switching device for emitting induction currents. On the one hand, this fulfills the requirement that the system is independent of any network, and on the other hand, in the event of faults in the communication lines, the disturbed part of the line can be switched off and at least the remaining part of the traffic can be maintained. For this purpose, disconnectors can be assigned to the stations to switch off the incoming line branches.

Since the operation of the telecommunication devices usually requires the presence of a local direct current source (e.g. to feed a microphone), it is also advisable to provide a DC battery in each station, which is used both to emit the induction current surges and to feed the telecommunication devices serves. In order to be able to get by with a low-voltage battery, it is advisable to connect the surge transmitter to the line via transformers with a large transmission ratio, which brings about the voltage increase required for safe transmission of the current surges.

If the lines are high-voltage affected, these transformers can be designed as protective transformers, or protective transformers can also be used in addition to the transformers with a large transmission ratio, which transfer both the induction current surges and those used for other traffic Permit telecommunication flows (for example telephone flows).

To absorb the current surges in the stations, polarized relays are expediently arranged, which also respond to the direction of the induction current surge. The nature of this relay can also be used to create a secret voice communication. When using these polarized relays, traffic can be initiated, for example, in such a way that a single surge of electricity is sent out in a certain direction, which puts the armature of all polarized relays around once and thereby triggers switch-on processes (for example to prepare for the election).

The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in Fig. 1, the circuit of a subscriber station of a paging system, while Fig. 2 shows the connection of such subscriber stations to high-voltage lines Lei lines. In the idle state, the terminals a and b are connected to a polarized relay E, whose contact e is shown in the lower part of the drawing.

During the impulse, however, the relay B is energized, so that its contact bi disconnects the receiving relay E and the secondary side TS of the impulse transmitter switches on. During the conversation, the contact bi is back in the illustrated position, but the contact h1 is turned over. so that now the secondary side US of the speech transmitter is in series with the remote receiver h 'on the line ..

The activation of the microphone circuit, to which the primary side UP of the speech transmitter and the microphone 11 belong, takes place simultaneously with this switchover when the receiver is lifted by the hook switch HU and the relay H is energized The call to the desired station is brought about in a known manner by setting the switching arm SA of a stepping mechanism to the step contact assigned to the desired station.

As soon as the Sehaaltarm has lingered in this position for a certain time, the alarm clock W of the called station is activated by the response of switching means controlled by delay devices. The monitoring of the occupancy status of the line is made possible by an indicator SZ.

A desired station is called as follows: As soon as the calling subscriber picks up the receiver, the relay H is energized by flipping the hook switch HL ': -Local battery OB, relay winding H, normally closed contact ai, flipped hook switch HU, normally closed contact vi, -I- OB. On the one hand, a holding circuit for relay H is prepared via the contact, and on the other hand, over the contact has closed the microphone circuit:

-OB, microphone 111, primary winding UP of the speech transmitter, contact h3, hook switch HU, contact vi, + OB. </ I> Simultaneously, by switching the contact hi, the receiving relay E is separated from the line and the remote receiver circuit, containing the secondary winding US and remote receiver F, is connected to the line.

A fourth contact h4 of relay H causes relay B to respond: -I- OB, relay winding B, normally closed contact si, working contact h4, - OB. By moving the contact tes h5, the excitation circuit for the relay P is prepared and the release is prepared by opening the contact h6.

As soon as the relay B responds, the contact bi is switched over, which switches off the receiver circuit to enable the selection and connects the impulse transmission TP, TS with the line.

In addition, the contact b2 and thereby the pulse circuit is closed via the primary winding TP of the pulse transformer: -i- OB, closed contact b2, normally closed contact s2, primary winding TP, normally closed contact s3, - OB. However, so that the impulse does not get into the line when the impulse circuit is closed, which could, for example, give rise to incorrect switching, the relay contacts are adjusted so that contact b2 closes first and then contact bi.

Rather, the first pulse is only transmitted after the relay S has responded. Through the relay. B, the contact b3, which causes the relay C to be excited, is also closed. This relay maintains its contact ei and and at the same time causes relay S to respond via contact c =: 4- OB, relay winding S, impulse contact -ni, closed contact c2, - OB.

The contacts si, s2, s3 are now switched for the first time. The changeover contacts s2 and s3 reverse the direction of the current in the primary winding TP of the pulse transformer and thereby cause the preparation pulse to be sent out. which switches the receiving relay E in all stations in the MTeise described below. The pulse circuit is opened again a short time after the transmission of this pulse. by de-energizing relay B.

This takes place as soon as the contact si has been turned over and the period caused by the delay delay of relay B has expired. The aforementioned adjustment of the relay contacts of B ensures that the line contact bi is opened first and only after it is the contact b2 opened.

The drop in relay B has no influence on the state of excitation of relay S. since relay C is kept switched on via its contact ei and thus relay S also remains energized via contact e2.

If the pulse generator is now actuated for the purpose of sending out current impulses to control the stepping mechanisms, that is, for example, the number disk is opened, the number disk contact nk is first closed, which again causes the relay B to respond. As a result, the pulse circuit is closed in the manner described. but without giving any false impulse to the line. However, as soon as the dial expires.

the impulse contact rii is opened and closed intermittently, so that the contacts of the relay 8 are switched intermittently from their working position to the rest position and vice versa. The working of contacts s2 and s3 generates current surges in alternating directions that enter the line via the pulse transformer. By reversing the polarity of the battery, a particularly powerful impulse is generated.

The jerky switching of the relay contact si while the dial is running has no effect, since the contact nk is continuously closed.

When contact nk opens after the impulse has been generated, relay B again drops out, whereby the impulse circuit is interrupted by means of contact b2 and the remote heater circuit is switched on instead of the impulse transmitter by switching contact bi.

In the other stations, the polarized receiving relay E .einmal is excited by the preparatory pulse and the relay contact e is moved from the rest position to the working position, in which it remains until the dialing pulses arrive. The relay A is made to respond by the contact e, which first interrupts the circuit for the relay H by opening the contact ai to Zv # reclie of secrecy, so that this does not occur when the hook switch contact HU is switched can be excited. On the other hand, when contact a2 is closed, a flag 87, is switched on, which informs all stations that the line is being used.

The contact a3 closes the circuit for a thermal relay Th., Whose purpose is explained below. A circuit for the relays V and J is also prepared via the contact a.s., while the contact a5 is used to prepare the call.

The incoming dialing pulses place the armature e of the polarized receiving relay E intermittently to the rest position and back to the working position, whereby the pulse relay J is energized intermittently: -; OB, Relay J, closed contact a4, closed break contact e, - OB. The current surges picked up by the relay J cause the impulse contact i to close intermittently and thus the Excitation of the drive magnet D of the stepping mechanism, the armature of which is accordingly switched forward step by step.

During the pulse, the relay V, which is parallel to the pulse relay J but has a delayed drop-out, is constantly pulled, so that on the one hand the contact ri in the circuit of the hook switch HU and the thermal relay Ih ,, on the other hand Contact 2111 is opened, which initially prevents the switching devices connected to the contacts of the indexing mechanism from responding.

In the desired station, the switching arm SA is moved by the current surges emitted in a suitable number to the contact x assigned to this station, on which it remains. As soon as: after the termination of the last pulse the delay relay V drops out, the contact ri is closed in preparation for the call.

At the same time, relay B is excited via contact U2: -I- OB, relay B, closed contact a5, break contact 165, break contact p2, station contact .r, switching arm SA, closed break contact q, 2, - OB. The closing contact ri switches on the alarm clock TI ', which draws attention to the desired connection:

   - OB, alarm clock W, closed contact ri, normally closed contact HL ', contact + OB.

Opening the contact n- results in the interruption of the circuit for the thermal relay Th, so that it does not respond. Finally, by closing contact r3, the excitation of relay H is prepared, which occurs when the receiver is lifted: - OB, relay winding H, closed contact r3, working contact of the hook switch HU. Rest contact m, -f- OB.

The changeover contact hi is switched over by the relay H, so that now. In the called station, the remote listening circuit is also connected to the line instead of the receiving relay E. At the same time, a holding circuit for relay H is prepared via contact las and the microphone circuit is closed via contact 1a3: -OB, microphone M, primary winding of: speech transmitter UP, working contacts h3 and HU , Break contacts vi, -i- OB.

The relay R is disconnected by the contact h5 and the relay P is switched on in its place. The contact ri in the circuit of the alarm clock W is thereby interrupted, but the alarm clock has already been stopped beforehand after lifting the receiver by interrupting HU . Resetting contact r3 has no effect. since the relay H remains switched on via its own contact h2.

In the circuit of the thermal relay Th - the normally closed contact r2 closes, but its effect is soon replaced by the opening of the contact p1 of the relay P.

Contact P2 is switched over and keeps relay P energized independently of relay H: -f- OB, relay P, working contact p2, contact x, switching arm SA, break contact v2, - OB. Finally, the reset circuit for the rotary magnet D is prepared via contact P3, while contact P4 bridges the changeover contact bi, so that the receiver circuit is now connected to the line in parallel with the secondary winding TS of the pulse transmitter.

In the other, non-called stations, the stepping mechanisms are adjusted by the same number of steps after the relays E and A are energized, so they do not reach any station contact, but remain on one of the contacts connected to the relay P.

In these stations, the relay P responds as soon as the delay relay V has dropped out and has closed its contact v2 after the end of the impulse: -j- OB, relay P, switching arm SA, closed break contact v2, - OB . The contact pi interrupts in the manner already described the circuit for the thermal relay Th, which was closed before when relay A responded via contact a3.

Since the con tact al is open and, on the other hand, the contact r3 also remains open, any lifting of the receiver has no effect, so that secret traffic is achieved through this circuit. The occupancy status of the line can easily be determined by addressing the indicator SZ (via contact a2).

The continuation of the stepping mechanism in the rest position can be done from one of the two communicating speech stations. If, for example, the receiver is hung up at the calling station, the hook switch HU is brought into its idle state, in which it interrupts the circuit of the relay 1i. This comes to waste, so that the telephone circuit is interrupted by the contact hi and the microphone circuit by the contact h3.

If the contact h6 falls back into the closed position, since the relay S is still picked up and the contact si is turned over, the response of the relay B results in: -i- OB, relay B, Working contact si. Rest contact h6, -OB. The relay B switches via the contact. b4 the relay I ', whose circuit was prepared by moving the contact h4: + OB.

Relay L '. Normally open contact b.i, normally closed contact 1a4. - OB. The relay LT now disconnects the holding circuit of the relay C with its contact ui, so that it drops out and, by interrupting the contact c2, also de-energizes the relay.

When relay 8 drops out, contacts si, s2, s3 are reset to the rest position, which means that the final pulse is sent to the line via the previously closed contacts bi and b2. With this final pulse, the armature e of the receiver relays E are moved from the working to the rest position in the stations, in which they remain until the beginning of the next voting body.

Resetting contact e causes relay A to be switched off, so that after the time caused by the switch-off delay has elapsed, the indicator SZ disappears by interrupting contact cal. By opening the contact a, 4, the response of the relays V and I is prevented during the resetting that now follows.

Since after de-energizing the relay S and switching the contact s1, the relay B, as well as the relay U after disconnection of the contact b4, the rotary magnet D is energized via the now closed normally closed contact u2 and the normally closed contact of the receiving relay e : OB, rotary magnet D, normally closed contact 242, working contact p3, normally closed contact e, - OB.

The rotary magnet indicates and therefore closes its contact d, so that the relay U picks up: , '- OB, relay U, magnetic contact d, normally closed contacts v3 and e, -OB. (During the dialing process the relay V was excited, so that the contact made the closing of contact d ineffective.) The relay U now opens contact u2 in the circuit of the rotary magnet D, the so it falls off again and opens its contact.

This reciprocal cooperation of the relays U and D takes place while the step-by-step switch is activated until the switching arm SA has reached the rest position. In this the contact p3 opens so that the rotary magnet remains de-energized.

In the event that the receiving relay E is switched to the working position by any coincidence or incorrect switching, without a call being initiated, the thermal relay Th is provided, which is switched on via contact a3 and switches contact th after a certain time .

Through this contact, the receiving relay E is temporarily switched to the battery via the resistors Wd in such a way that its armature is moved back into the rest position. The separation of the contact a3 then again causes the thermal relay Th to drop out. At the same time, the temporary apparent occupancy of the line was drawn to the attention of the contact a2.

Fig. 2 shows an exemplary embodiment in which way several subscriber stations T1, T2, , which can for example be switched according to Fig. 1, are connected to the telecommunication line. The telecommunication line, which is laid as a two-wire line a, b, for example on the linkage of a high-voltage line r, s, t and is therefore exposed to the risk of being influenced by it, is expediently crossed at suitable intervals trager LUi, LU2 divided into individual sections.

The subscriber stations T1 and T2 are BEZW with the line via protection transformers STi. ST2 connected, which can be provided in a known manner with a grounded screen for static shielding of the two windings from one another. For further protection of the devices, safety fuses SSi respectively. SS'2 and voltage arrester SAi respectively. SA2 must be seen before.

Furthermore, in many cases it is advisable to have choke coils D1 at all or in some stations (depending on the line length). D2 to be connected between the two lines with a grounded winding center point. The purpose of these choke coils is to dissipate the (induced and capacitive) currents caused by the high-voltage line. In the known dial-up call systems, the installation of such earthing chokes is not possible.

In each of the branches of the telecommunication line going out from the station there is an isolating switch (T81 and TS2 for station T1 and TSa and TS.i for station T2), through which the disconnection of branch lines is made possible.

For example, if the telecommunication line is disrupted at the point marked by x, so that traffic with the stations on the left of x is impossible, but also the reciprocal traffic of the other stations on the right of x is severely impaired, opening the Disconnector TSi the defective part of the line can be switched off. The stations. T1, T2 and the other stations to the right of the fault point can now communicate with one another again without hindrance.

In the same way, the nearest station to the left of the fault location can open the isolating switch facing it and thereby enable the traffic of all the stations to the left of the fault location with one another. This shutdown option creates a largely independent operation of malfunctions.
