magnetische, Kupplungen a undb vorgesehen.
Set of nose tips for top-quality products. To cover the peak output of power plants, auxiliary power plants are used, which deliver energy into the network fed by the main power plant when the network is heavily loaded, but on the other hand convert excess energy from your network into work. If it is a hydropower plant, the peak power plant is assigned a pump system through which water from a lower water basin, e.g. B. the Saaimel hedges, for the water used in the turbine is pumped into an upper reservoir.
If, for example, the lower water basin has a great depth with a small width and length, taking into account the local available space, then depending on the water conditions there are variable delivery heights for the pump and thus the necessity within wide limits having to change the speed of the pump.
If the pumps are driven by their own motors, this is done by selecting the motors, e.g. B. -as collector motors, asynchronous motors with Seherbius machines etc- easy to meet. However, arrangements of this type are expensive and it is easier to drive the pumps through the generators of the peak power plant than motors. When using asynchronous generators in the power plant, tour regulation is possible when using the generators as motors by means of a rear machine or by pole switching.
This creates a very undesirable complication and a substantial increase in the cost of the system due to the necessary auxiliary machines and control devices.
The invention is now a machine set for peak power plants, be standing from a turbine, a synchronous machine driven by this and a pump, the synchronous machine either driven by the turbine as a generator on the network, as well as fed to the network as a motor can drive the pump and according to the invention a second synchronous machine is or can be coupled to the shaft of the machine set, which is also intended to drive the pump.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown schematically. T is the turbine of the peak power plant and 0 the synchronous generator, which also feeds the network fed by the main power plant. P is the pump and #H the additional synchronous machine. Between generator G and pump, P, and auxiliary motor 31 are disengageable during operation, for. B.
magnetic, couplings a and b provided. The motor M has a larger number of poles than the generator G so that its speed is lower than that of the generator G and, as a result, it must be dimensioned for a lower output. Depending on whether the pump is driven by the motor M or the generator G as a motor, it receives different speeds.
When using the machine set for gerator operation, d. h. To cover peak performance, the motor M can run idle when using detachable couplings as phase shifter, so that the gerierator can be measured smaller. The system works as follows: For the operation of the synchronous machine G as a generator, d. h. To cover the peak power of the network, the turbine T is left on, the Syrichron motor M is connected in parallel with the network, and the magnetic couplings a and b are released.
When the turbine is raised and after the generator G has been connected in parallel to the mains, the motor M fed by the mains runs idle as a phase shifter. If the synchronous motor _H is to be used to drive the pump P for small delivery heads, the turbine is shut down after the synchronous motor IV has been connected to the mains, with the coupling b being given between the generator and the pump.
It is also possible to connect the generator to the mains in parallel while the turbine is running and to use it as a phase shifter. In the latter case, the pump for provides a greater delivery head with greater speed and power operate, then only clutch a needs to be released and clutch b closed. The (x'erierator G then drives the pump P as a motor. The motor .M now runs empty again as a phase shifter With.
Under certain circumstances, it can be useful to permanently connect the two synchronous machines to one another and to the pump using rigid or elastic couplings, with only one synchronous machine operating electrically, while the second is used to increase the flywheel mass of the machine set .
