Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasserunlösliehen Azofarbstoffes. Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasser unlöslichen Azofarbstoffes, das dadurch ge kennzeichnet ist, dass man die Diazoverbin- dung von 1-Aminoanthrachinon mit Benzoyl- essigsäure-2-toluidid kuppelt. Die Einwir kung der beiden Komponenten aufeinander kann auch in Gegenwart eines Substrates er folgen.
Der in Substanz hergestellte Farbstoff bildet ein rotstichig gelbes Pulver, die Fär bungen besitzen einen lebhaften, rotstichig gelben Farbton und sind sehr gut lichtecht. <I>Beispiel:</I> 22,3 gr 1-Aminoanthrachinonwerden, wie üblich, mit 7,2 gr Natriumnitrit dianotiert. Die klare Diazolösung wird mit Natriumace- tat auf Kongoneutralität abgestumpft.
In diese Lösung läuft die durch Lösen von 25,3 gr Benzoylessigsäure - 2 - toluidid in 50 cm' doppelt normaler Natronlauge und heissem Wasser erhaltene Arylidlösung. Nach längerem Nachrühren ist die Farb- stoffbildung beendet. plan saugt ab, wäscht gut im Wasser und trocknet.
Man erhält ein rotstichig gelbes Pulver. Die Darstellung des Farbstoffes kann auch in Gegenwart eines Substrates erfolgen. Wird der Farbstoff auf der Faser erzeugt, so erhält man einen sehr lichtechten, lebhaf ten, rotsticlrig gelben Farbton.

A reddish yellow powder is obtained. The preparation of the dye can also take place in the presence of a substrate. If the dye is produced on the fiber, a very lightfast, lively, red-tinged yellow shade is obtained.
