Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasserunlöslichen AzofarbstofFes. Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasserun löslichen Azofarbstoffes, das dadurch gekenn zeichnet ist, dass man die Diazoverbindung von 1-Amino-4-methoxy-2-nitrobenzol mit Terephtaloyl-bis-essigsäure-p-toluidid kuppelt. Die Einwirkung der beiden Komponenten aufeinander kann auch in Gegenwart eines Substrates erfolgen.
Der in Substanz hergestellte Farbstoff bildet ein orangefarbiges Pulver; die Fär bungen besitzen einen lebhaften, orangen Farbton und sind sehr gut lichtecht.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 40,4 gr Terephtaloyl-bis-essigsäure-p-tolui- did werden in 100 cm' doppelt normaler Natronlauge und Wasser heiss gelöst. Diese Lösung läuft zu einer wie folgt bereiteten Diazolösung : 33,6 gr 1-Amino-4-methoxy-2- nitrobenzol werden mit 52 cm3 Salzsäure von 22 Bö und 14,4 gr Natriumnitrit unter Eiszusatz wie üblich diazotiert und mit Na triumacetat auf Kongoneutralität abgestumpft.
Die Farbatoffbildung ist nach mehrstün digem Nachrühren beendet. Man saugt ab, wäscht gut mit Wasser und trocknet.
Man erhält ein orangefarbiges Pulver. Die Darstellung des Farbstoffes kann auch in Gegenwart eines Substrates erfolgen. Wird der Farbstoff auf der Faser erzeugt, so er hält man einen sehr lichtechten, lebhaften, orangen Farbton.

The subject of this additional patent is a process for the preparation of a water-insoluble azo dye, which is characterized in that the diazo compound of 1-amino-4-methoxy-2-nitrobenzene is coupled with terephtaloyl-bis-acetic acid-p-toluidide. The two components can also act on one another in the presence of a substrate.
The dye produced in substance forms an orange powder; the colors have a lively, orange hue and are very lightfast.
<I> Example: </I> 40.4 g of terephtaloyl-bis-acetic acid-p-toluidate are dissolved in 100 cm 'double normal sodium hydroxide solution and hot water. This solution runs into a diazo solution prepared as follows: 33.6 g of 1-amino-4-methoxy-2-nitrobenzene are diazotized as usual with 52 cm3 of hydrochloric acid of 22 Bö and 14.4 g of sodium nitrite with the addition of ice and with sodium acetate to make congo neutrality dulled.
The formation of dyes is complete after several hours of stirring. It is suctioned off, washed well with water and dried.
An orange powder is obtained. The preparation of the dye can also take place in the presence of a substrate. If the dye is produced on the fiber, it is kept in a very lightfast, lively, orange color.
