Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines echten Küpenfarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines echten Kü- penfarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man zwei Moleküle Thiazolanthron-2-carbon- säurechlorid in Gegenwart eines wasserfreien Metallhalogenids mit einem Molekül Diphenyl- äther kondensiert.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein gel bes Pulver dar, das Baumwolle aus violetter Küpe in klaren grünstichig gelben Tönen an färbt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> In eine Schmelze von 100 kg Aluminium chlorid und 20 kg Natriumchlorid wird bei ca. 130 eine Mischung aus 15 kg Thiazol- anthron - 2 - carbonsäurechlorid und 4,5 kg Diphenyläther eingerührt. Nach kurzer Zeit ist die Salzsäureabspaltung beendet. Die Schmelze wird hierauf in eine Mischung von 2500 Liter Wasser und 10 kg konzentrierter Salzsäure eingerührt. Das Kondensationspro dukt scheidet sich hierbei in Form gelber Flocken. ab, die abfiltriert und ausgewaschen werden. Der so erhaltene Rohfarbstoff ist be reits ein Produkt von grosser Reinheit.
Er kann gegebenenfalls noch durch Behandlung mit Oxydationsmitteln, wie zum Beispiel un- terchlorigsaures Natron, von etwaigen, die Nüance beeinflussenden Nebenprodukten be freit werden.
Process for the production of a real vat dye. The present patent relates to a process for the production of a true vat dye, characterized in that two molecules of thiazolanthrone-2-carboxylic acid chloride are condensed with one molecule of diphenyl ether in the presence of an anhydrous metal halide.
The dye obtained in this way is a yellow powder which dyes cotton from a violet vat in clear greenish yellow tones.
<I> Example: </I> A mixture of 15 kg thiazole anthrone-2-carboxylic acid chloride and 4.5 kg diphenyl ether is stirred into a melt of 100 kg aluminum chloride and 20 kg sodium chloride at approx. 130. The elimination of hydrochloric acid is complete after a short time. The melt is then stirred into a mixture of 2500 liters of water and 10 kg of concentrated hydrochloric acid. The condensation product separates in the form of yellow flakes. which are filtered off and washed out. The raw dye thus obtained is already a product of great purity.
If necessary, it can also be freed from any by-products that affect the nuance by treatment with oxidizing agents, such as sodium hypochlorite.
