Screw assembly device for plate and bridge, used in watchmaking. The object of the present invention is a screw assembly device for plate and bridge, used in watchmaking. The upper part - of the rod - of the screw is cylindrical and fits with hard friction in the rectified and superimposed holes of the bridge and - of the plate, thus forming, apart from a fixing of the bridge on the plate, a foot for the exact assembly of these parts.
By means of this device, it is possible to avoid the feet generally used for adjusting the parts in question. This allows a considerable saving in labor and tools. This way of assembly is therefore especially favorable for inexpensive movements.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
The single figure is a sectional view of the screw assembly device according to the invention. The head @of the screw is designated by a. Its stem is, divided into two distinct parts b and c. The upper part b is cylindrical and smooth, while the part c is threaded.
The bridge d has a core e for the head a of the screw and a ground hole f for the passage of its rod. The plate is pierced there with a hole whose upper part h corresponds to the hole f -du bridge and whose lower part i is threaded and cooperates with the threaded part c -de the rod.
It can be seen without further that by screwing together the bridge and the plate by means of the screw described, the -two parts will be exactly adjusted to one another, part b playing the role of a foot. In the .dispositif according to the invention, an ordinary fixing screw is therefore combined with an adjusting foot and has the same advantages as these organs separately.
