Description

  In der     Zeichnung    ist eine Ausführungs  form der Erfindung beispielsweise dargestellt,  und zwar ist;       Fig.    1 ein senkrechter Längsschnitt durch  das     Anlassergehäuse    und veranschaulicht    die     Anlasserantriebsvorrichtung    in der An  sicht;       Fig.    2, ist eine Draufsicht auf den An  lasser;       Fig.    3 und 4 sind Querschnitte nach  den Linien     3--3    und 4-4 der     Fig.    1;

         Fig. 5, 6 und 7 sind schaubildliche An sichten von Teilen der Anlasserantriebsvor- ri chtung.

  BI-motor starter influenced by the foot. The invention relates to such a motor starter influenced by the foot, mainly for electric sewing machines, which has a housing resting on the floor and a variable resistance unit housed in the latter.

  The invention aims to provide a simplified form of a starter of compact design which does not have the defect of sliding on the ground on which it rests during use.

  According to the invention, the Fusstril.t for actuating the variable resistance unit is mounted in the housing in such a way that it slides downwards in an inclined position to the vertical.

  In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown, for example, namely; Fig. 1 is a vertical longitudinal section through the starter housing and illustrates the starter drive device in view; Fig. 2 is a plan view of the starter; Figures 3 and 4 are cross-sections taken along lines 3-3 and 4-4 of Figure 1;

         5, 6 and 7 are perspective views of parts of the starter drive device.

  The housing of the starter shown has a base plate 1 and a removable cover 2. The cover 2 has a rear, flat, horizontal part 2 'and a front, obliquely downward part 2 "; the term" front "denotes the direction towards the worker's foot or to the right with reference to FIG Rubber feet 3, which rest on the floor, are attached to the underside of the base plate 1. The rear end of the cover 2 is provided with hooks 4 which pass through recesses 5 in the base plate 1 and engage with the underside thereof.

   A single fastening screw 6 goes through a tongue 7, which protrudes from the lid 2 forward, and is screwed into the base plate 1 to put the lid firmly on the latter.

  The actual tempering resistor 9, which has carbon disks which can be pressed against one another in a known manner, is fastened to the base plate 1 by means of screws 8. The starting resistor shown has a porcelain body which is provided with the depressions or chambers 11 for the stacks of the carbon resistance disks 12 which are located at a certain distance from one another and which essentially fill the chambers 11 and are electrically connected to the terminals 13.

   The S ta pel 12 also have print heads 14, which are bridged by .dem consisting of an arc spring contact member 1: 5 who, on the back of a stiffer spring member 16 is arranged.

   From the middle of the springs 15 and 16 a pull rod 17 protrudes, which has an end provided with a screw thread, .das an adjustable face nut 1.8 carries, the shaft 19 of which goes through a bore 20 of the head 21. This pulling head 21 has a rectangular, frame-like shape, as indicated by the dashed lines in Fig. 2, and has a pair of inwardly projecting arms 22 which, by means of a bolt, are connected to the elbows 24 of the adjacent parts 25 of an angle lever are rotatably connected,

   which with the lower ends of its upright legs at 2'6 on the at a certain distance vonein other standing tabs 27 is swingably ge superimposed, which protrude from the base plate L down. The forwardly projecting arms 25 'of the parts 25 of the angle lever are bent outwards in opposite directions and provided with folded flaps 28 on their outer ends, which represent rounded upper bearing surfaces for the engagement of the footstep.

   A pair of springs 29 is turned on between the fixed post 30, which protrudes from the base plate 1, and the arms 22 of the tie rod head. Adjustment bolts for the springs are provided on the post 30 and the arms 2, 2. A pin 32 provided on .dem train head 2.1 enters into a groove 33 in the flange of the adjusting nut 18 in order to keep the latter in the set position on the pull rod 17 züz.

  In inclined guides 3: 4, 35 of the base plate 1 and the cover 2, the legs 36 .des footsteps 37 are mounted: The legs 3, 6 (Fig. 1 and 5) are provided with control shoulders 38, which with the upper, rounded Surfaces of the tabs 28 of the angle lever 25 engage. A foot pressure exerted on the footstep 3.7 has the consequence that the legs 36 slide down in the guides 34, 35 and consequently cause the control shoulders 38 to depress the ends 28 of the angle lever parts 25 and the latter around their common seeds Swing out bearing pin 26, where a train exerts on head 21 and pull rod 17.

   A train exerted on the tie rod 17 first closes the electrical circuit through the intermediary of the stack 12 of the resistance disks and then exerts a gradually increasing spring pressure on these disks, whereby their electrical resistance is gradually reduced.

       The foot step 3.7 is stored in guides that run obliquely to the vertical. The direction and the amount of this inclination is such that the line of movement of the footstep is essentially tangential to a circle, the center of which coincides with the point at which the heel of the worker usually rests on the floor when the ball of his foot is on the Footstep lies. This will cause the starter to creep. above the floor when the starter is operated repeatedly.

  As a result of the extremely compact design of the starter, the latter is particularly suitable for portable sewing machines of small size; the starter can be conveniently located in the limited space between the base and the overhanging machine when the equipment is not in use.

  The bore 20 opens into the bottom side or edge 20 'of the pulling head 27 .. This feature is important because it enables .that this head is easily detached from the adjusting nut 1.8 and the pulling rod 1.7 can be, .by you share it around his Ge joint 23 with the angle lever 25 swings upwards. Such a separation is often desired in order to enable the nut 18 to be adjusted on the pull rod 17 or to allow the starting resistor 9 to be removed and reattached easily.
