Description

  Farbapparat an Schreibmaschinen, insbesondere an Typenzylinderschreibmaschinen.

       Fig.    1. ist eine Vorderansicht des ersten       Ausführungsbeispiels;          Fig.        --)    ist eine Ansicht .dazu von links     ge-          @ehen,    in     bezug    auf     Fig.    1;       Fig.    3 ist ein     Grundriss;          Fig.        -1    ist eine Rückansicht desselben;       Fig.    5     ist.    ein     Querschnitt    durch den     Farb-          behälter    und das Ventil;

         Fig. 6 ist ein ähnlicher Querschnitt durch rlas zweite Ausführungsbeispiel, und Fig. 7 ist eine Einzelansicht eines Ventil körpers besonderer Bauart. Beim Farbapparat nach Fig. 1 bis 5 ist der Behälter 1 mit Farbe gefüllt. In ihm befindet sich ein mit Innengewinde ver- sehenes Rohr 2 mit seitlichen Löchern 3, durch .die die Farbe zum unten beschriebenen Ventil belangt. Im Rohr ist die Spindel 4 eines Schraubventils gelagert.

  Ink apparatus on typewriters, in particular on cylinder type typewriters. The invention relates to a color apparatus -in \ ^ hreibmasehinen, in particular on types- zvIiiider. @ Elireibmiischinen. It consists in placing in a container filled with paint:

  > is fitted in a valve that is automatically controlled and lets the paint escape each time a type is pressed.

  On figure 7, two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown.

       Fig. 1 is a front view of the first embodiment; Fig. 1-) is a view of this from the left, in relation to Fig. 1; Fig. 3 is a plan view; Fig. -1 is a rear view of the same; Fig. 5 is. a cross section through the paint container and the valve;

         Fig. 6 is a similar cross-section through the second embodiment, and Fig. 7 is a detail view of a valve body of a particular type. In the paint apparatus according to FIGS. 1 to 5, the container 1 is filled with paint. In it there is a pipe 2 provided with an internal thread and with holes 3 on the side, through which the color of the valve described below is concerned. The spindle 4 of a screw valve is mounted in the tube.

   The valve body designed as a cone, which is provided on the valve spindle 4, dominates the valve opening 5 (Fig. 4, 5). The valve is opened with each push of the penis so wide that the required amount of paint can escape. For this purpose, an arm 6 with a pin 7 is attached to the outward tre border end of the valve spindle 4, which is in the mouth of an angle lever 8.

   The horizontal arm .dieses angle lever has a slot for the pin 9 of a handlebar 10, the lower end of which is connected by the axle pins 11 and 12 to a lever 13 movable in all directions. The lever 13 is moved upwards by the pressure mechanism every time the busbar is pressed, thereby opening the valve.

  The coloring of the types is done by a roller 14 which is fastened with the interposition of a leaf spring 15 on the color lever 16 BE. This is rotatable about the axis 17 and is driven by the .pusher 18, which is connected to a lever 18 'which is actuated when pressure is applied and is independent of the lever 13. The roller 14 runs over the set type and colors it. As a result of the resilience of the spring 15, the roller, while running over the type, can follow the pressure movement of the type cylinder 19 a short distance on the way after paper.

   In the further course of this movement, which is transverse to the print movement, i.e. parallel to the surface of the paper, the roller runs over the surface 20 (FIG. 4), removes fresh paint from the valve opening 5 and rubs it on the surface 20. After the print has been made, the pressure mechanism takes the paint roller back to the starting position and closes the valve.

  The container 1 has downward an extension 21 in the form of a flat tube of rectangular cross-section. So that the container is pushed ge over an elbow 22 and then clamped with a screw 28. The piece 24 on which the paint lever 16 is mounted is bent at right angles from the extension 21 and forms one piece with it and the container 1; so that after loosening the screw 23, the container with the parts attached to it, including the paint roller, can be removed and replaced with another after the paint has been used up.

   This is particularly important because the rubber-covered paint roller has a limited lifespan and it is therefore necessary to regularly renew it with the paint. The paint container is closed in such a way that the user of the machine is not able to fill in new paint himself. if he allowed that, there would be a risk of using unsuitable paint. This is because special requirements must be placed on the quality of the color, which are not met by the stamp inks available on the market.

    The paint must, for example, be prepared with an oil that does not attack the rubber of the paint roller and that only dries on the paper, and the dye must be so closely bonded to the <B> 01 </B> that it can does not separate from it over time, about sinks to the ground and clogs the valve. The color must also be such that it is accepted well and evenly by the metal types, which is by no means the case, for example, with the glycerine inks used for rubber stamps.

   The task to be set consists precisely in the fact that the writer should have nothing to do with the coloring, apart from the renewal of the apparatus, and that the coloring is always uniform.

  The return of the paint roller to the rest position can take place. by the pressure mechanism, also by a spring. The associated pusher then needs the. Pin 25 of the color lever not, as drawn, to include, but only to poke below.

  The amount of color exiting through the valve can be changed by setting .des link 10, that is, shortening or lengthening the effective horizontal arm of the angle lever 8. A rod 40 articulated to the handlebar 10 is rotatable in the bearing 41. This can be moved laterally in a plate 42 fastened to the machine frame. With a pin 43, the bearing 41 protrudes into an eccentric slot 44 of the angle piece 45 which is rotatable on a bolt 46, and to which a pin 47 is attached.

   By moving this pin, which passes through a slot 48 of the machine top plate 49, the amount of color can therefore be set as desired.

  In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 5, the valve 4, 5 is opened and closed by the pressure mechanism by means of a linkage 8, 10, 1.3, which is also actuated during pressure independently of the one Color lever 16 is. In contrast to this, the opening of the valve in the paint apparatus shown in FIG. 6 is effected by the paint roller 1.1 itself. The valve body 26, formed as a brick, is provided with a washer 27, which is guided in the bore 28 of a screw 29.

   A spring 30 arranged between this and the disk 27 of the valve body 26 presses the valve body onto its seat 31. If the roller 14 runs over the bulge 32 of the valve body, it pushes it back so that a suitable amount of paint can escape. This amount can by more or less deep screwing in the screw 29, the. the valve lift limited, changed. In order to prevent unintentional adjustment of the screw 29, a leaf spring 34 with a pin 35 attached to it is attached to its head 33 by a screw 36. On the outer wall of the paint container, notches 37 are provided, into which the pin 35 can snap.

  In the variant according to FIG. 7, the N valve body is rounded and has a streamlined shape. With this design, the color flows more evenly to the valve hole.
