Photographic device for registering data from counters or reading instruments. There are already facilities for photographic registration of the information from measuring instruments and counters become known. In the simplest case, these devices are designed in such a way that the camera used for taking photographs is operated by hand.
In many cases, such devices are inadequate because the information from the measuring units or counters is to be photographed periodically over a longer period of time.
A facility has also already become known in which periodic registrations of the information from measuring mechanisms. to the. Example of counters, depending on a: Time switch.
The measuring instrument, the information of which is to be recorded photographically, and the photographic registration device are enclosed in a common housing in this device. By means of the timer, on the one hand, contacts to illuminate the information on the measuring device are actuated during the photographic recording, and on the other hand, a magnet is switched on, which actuates a special feed mechanism: the photographic film.
In the manner indicated, it is practically impossible to form devices that are suitable for use in measuring devices and counters of the most varied of dimensions, because this leads to dimensions for the entire device that are extremely large and disruptive.
The invention makes it possible to design the device in such a way that it can be conveniently used for periodic recording of data from measuring devices and counters of any dimensions. According to the invention, this is achieved in that: the timer provided for controlling the electro-magnetically actuated shutter of the camera is used to mechanically advance a photographic strip of the camera.
In the following, the invention is to be explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment which is shown in the drawing.
FIG. 1 shows the registration device in section along the line AB in FIG. 2; Fig. 2 is a top plan view with the case cut open; Fig.3 is a schematic representation of the transmission.
1 is the camera, which is enclosed in a multi-part housing 2. 3 be the lens through which the image to be recorded onto the film strip (paper strip) 4 is projected. 5 is the lock that is actuated by the armature 6 of the control magnet 7. The control magnet 7 is switched on by the contacts of the timer 8, which is enclosed in a special housing 9 and is detachably attached to the housing 2 of the camera 1 with the aid of the retaining struts 10 and fastening screws 11.
This makes it possible, depending on the prevailing conditions, to attach time switches of various types to the camera, which can for example have a mechanical clockwork or an electric drive. 12 are two incandescent lamps, which are arranged above and below the picture window of the camera and from .den contacts included in the timer and. can be switched off.
These light bulbs are used to illuminate the measuring device whose information is to be recorded photographically. With the drive mechanism of the timer, a gear 15 arranged outside the camera housing is connected, which serves to drive a pair of feed wheels 17 via an intermediate gear. The advance of the photographic film is effected by reading.
In the schematic gear drawing of FIG. 3, a small synchronous motor 21 is provided as a clockwork motor, the speed of which is directly proportional to the time at a constant frequency of the network to which it is connected. The runner 122 drives the intermediate gear wheels @ 23 to 33 arranged within .des watch housing 9; A slip clutch 34 is arranged between the gear wheels 32 and 33.
The wheel 33 is in engagement with the gear 15 on .der camera, by means of which the guide rollers 37 are driven via the gear wheels 35, 36 and also via the further gear wheels 3'8, 39 the feed wheels 17 for the film feed.
The front feed wheels 17 are, as Fig. 1 shows, on the rough back of the photographic film, while the guide rollers roll on the smooth front of the film on which the recording takes place. The gear wheel 36 is connected to the drive shaft 370 of the guide wheels 37 and the pinion 38 via a further slip clutch 80.
A drive pulley 41 is also connected to the drive shaft 370; from this the film roll 42 is driven via the drive pulley 43 by means of an endless belt made of helically wound wire. The film strip 4, which contains the photographic registrations, is wound onto the film roll 4'2. The other roll 44 containing the film strip in stock is not kup pelt with the transmission and is set in motion by the unwinding film strip.
The film roll 42 can be coupled with an adjusting nut 45 for precise adjustment of the film as required.
On the axis 330 of the wheel 33 there are cam disks 46 which are used to actuate the switching contacts of the time switch, not shown in detail in the gear drawing, for switching the shutter and the lamps on and off. An adjusting button 81 is also connected to the drive shaft 330, which makes it possible to operate the switch cams or contacts of the timer, as well as the feed mechanism for the film strip, independently of the speed of the timer.
During this actuation, the slip clutch 34 comes into effect in such a way that when the adjusting screw 81 is rotated, the gear wheels 2'3 to and thus the rotor 222 of the clockwork drive motor are not set in rotation.
The slip clutch 80 between the gear wheel 36 and the drive shaft 370 of the guide rollers 37 is provided to prevent the switch contacts of the timer from being activated when the film strip is set, and the slip clutch 80 should then come into action if, for example, clamps should occur on the film strip during operation.
In addition, the slip clutch also enables differences in the speed of vision of the film strip, which arise as a result of the change in the diameter of the wound film material, to be compensated.
The guide rollers 37 for the Filmstrei fen .1 are mounted in eyes 45 of a U-shaped ge curved wall part 50 (Fig. 1), which to a certain extent includes the projection chamber and reach through a slot in the wall part so far that the film strip on the Roll circumference runs along. The film strip 4 is pressed against the vertical part of the wall 50 by a leaf spring 51 which is attached to the cover 52 of the camera.
The provided with teeth Vorsehubräder 17 are mounted in elongated holes of the provided on the wall part 50 NEN eyes 53 and are pressed by spring 54 against the guide rollers 37 with respect to the overlying film strip. The film rolls themselves are mounted in the inclined slots 58 on the projections 59 on the wall part 50; they are held in their normal operating position by the spring plates 60. The inclined design of the slots 58 provided for the storage enables the rollers to be exchanged easily.
Through the lens 3, the image is projected through the gap 61 in the wall part 50 onto the film strip. The lens itself is arranged in front of a transverse wall part 62 in front of which the shutter 5 is located. The transverse wall part 6'2 also represents the end face of the capsule-shaped housing part 64, on which the closure cover 52 is fastened so that it can be opened. A small window 75 is also provided in the closure cover. This window is arranged so that it is next to the image area of the filmstrip.
On the one hand, the window makes it possible to determine after inserting the film whether the cover strip of the film has been unwound, on the other hand, however, this window, which is connected to a small light shaft inside the camera, is also intended to allow a light beam to pass through during the day the back of the film falls and creates a line on the filmstrip next to the image. When using the apparatus in rooms in which the natural light conditions prevail, the specified arrangement of the light window 75 is displayed at the same time on the image strip containing the measurements next to this day and night.
The housing capsule 64 is offset at its end, so that the front housing part 65 can be pushed. On the transverse wall 62, a funnel-like part (light shaft) 66 which tapers with increasing distance from the lens is also attached, which to a certain extent causes the lens to be dimmed, so that only an image limited by the window 67 of part 66 of the Lens is detected, which includes the counter or the display scale of the measuring instrument.
The funnel-shaped part 6, 6 has a length which corresponds approximately to the image width, reduced by the distance between the housing of the measuring instrument and the counter or the scale. The photographic registration device is attached to the measuring instrument to be examined,
that the end wall 69 of the registration device lies directly on the wall of the measuring instrument and the window 67 lies directly opposite the display window of the measuring instrument.
Of the retaining struts 10, which serve to fasten the timer B to the photographic camera, one sits on the housing part 64, the other on the detachable housing cover 65. As soon as the timer 8 is attached to the photographic camera, the parts 64 are , 65 of the camera housing rigidly coupled to one another via the timer.
In the cavity between the funnel-shaped housing part 66 and the cover 65, there are series resistors for the incandescent lamps 1'2 on the one hand, and the actuating magnet 7 for the camera shutter on the other. In addition, a terminal board 70 is arranged within this free Rau mes, to which the current lead 71 is connected into the camera housing. The light bulbs and the winding of the magnet 7 are still connected to the terminals of the terminal board and are switched on and off by the contacts of the timer.
The connection between the terminal board 70 and the contacts of the timer, as well as the drive motor of the timer, is made by contact pins 72, which are located in the timer and passed through a slot in the housing 65 and rest on the flat contact surfaces of the terminal board 70. This construction of the device enables one timer to be easily exchanged for another without having to change the internal circuitry of the photographic camera.
Details of the device described can of course be changed. For example, the timer can be provided with a variable transmission, which makes it possible to change the time intervals at which the photographic registration device is switched on.
The same goal can of course also be achieved by exchanging one timer for another timer.
