Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen kupferhaltigen Azofarbstoffes. Wir haben gefunden, dass man einen wertvollen, neuen kupferhaltigen Farbstoff erhält, indem man die diazotierte 2-Amino- 5-benzoyl-aminobenzoesäure mit 2-(p-Amino- benzoylamino)-5-naphtol-7-sulfosäure kup pelt und hernach den Farbstoff mit einem Kupfersalz, zum Beispiel Kupfersulfat be handelt. Diese so erhaltene Azoverbindung zeichnet sich vor allem durch grosse Haft barkeit auf Baumwolle aus, die damit, direkt in bordeaug Tönen von sehr guter Lichtbe ständigkeit gefärbt wird.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 2.5,6 Teile der 2-Amino-5-benzoylamino- benzoesäure (Schmelzpunkt 245 bis<B>250'</B> mit Zersetzung) und 6,9 Teile Natriumnitrit werden in 500 Teilen Wasser und 12,5 Tei len einer Lösung kaustischer Soda von 32 aufgelöst. Diese Lösung wird in eine Mi schung von 500 Teilen Wasser und 35 Teilen einer 36%igen Chlorwasserstoffsäure bei 10 C eingerührt.
Diese Suspension der kristallinischen Diazoverbindung wird bei <B>10'</B> C einer Lösung von 35,8 Teilen der 2-(p- Aminobenzoylamino)- 5 -naphtol-7-sulfosäure und 25 Teilen kalziniertem Natriumkarbonat in 500 Teilen Wasser (von 10 C) zugesetzt. Nach 6-stündigem Rühren neutralisiert man die Flüssigkeit durch Zusatz von genügender Chlorwasserstoffsäure (Prüfung mit Lack- muspapier) und der Farbstoff fällt aus.
Die Suspension wird nun 3 Stunden lang mit einer Lösung von 30 Teilen kristallisiertem Kupfersulfat in 100 Teilen Wasser auf <B>95'</B> C erhitzt. Nach Erkaltung macht man die Suspension mit Natriumkarbonat alka lisch (Prüfung mit Lackmuspapier); die Kupferverbindung wird ausgesalzen, filtriert und getrocknet. Das Produkt haftet ausge zeichnet auf Baumwolle, färbt sie direkt in bordeaug Tönen von sehr guter Lichtfestig keit.

We have found that a valuable, new copper-containing dye is obtained by coupling the diazotized 2-amino-5-benzoyl-aminobenzoic acid with 2- (p-amino-benzoylamino) -5-naphthol-7-sulfonic acid and afterwards the Dye with a copper salt, for example copper sulfate. The azo compound obtained in this way is characterized above all by its great adhesion to cotton, which is dyed directly in Bordeaug shades of very good light resistance.
<I> Example: </I> 2.5.6 parts of 2-amino-5-benzoylaminobenzoic acid (melting point 245 to 250 with decomposition) and 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite are in 500 parts of water and 12.5 parts of a 32 caustic soda solution. This solution is stirred into a mixture of 500 parts of water and 35 parts of 36% strength hydrochloric acid at 10.degree.
This suspension of the crystalline diazo compound is at <B> 10 '</B> C a solution of 35.8 parts of 2- (p-aminobenzoylamino) -5-naphthol-7-sulfonic acid and 25 parts of calcined sodium carbonate in 500 parts of water ( of 10 C) added.
