Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarbstoffes. Das Hauptpatent betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarbstoffes, bei wel chem man die Diazoverbindung des 1-Amino- 4-rhodanbenzols mit 1-(2-Oxy-3-carboxy-5- sulfophenyl)-3-methyl-5-pyrazolori vereinigt.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man eben falls einen neuen Azofarbstoff von vorzüglichen Echtheitseigenschaften erhält, wenn man die Diazoverbindung des 1-Amino-4-rhodanbenzols mit 1-(2.5-Dichlor-4-sulfophenyl)-3-methyl- 5-pyrazolon vereinigt.
Der so erhältliche Farbstoff färbt Wolle in klaren gelben Tönen und zeichnet sich insbesondere durch aussergewöhnlich gute Wasch- und Walkechtheit aus. Auch seine übrigen Eigenschaften, wie Lichtechtheit und Gleichmässigkeit, sind vorzüglich.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Man diazotiert eine wässrige, salzsaure Lösung von 15 Teilen 1-Amino-4-rhodanben- zol bei 0 C und lässt nach wenigen Minu ten die Diazolösung in eine abgekühlte soda- alkalische Lösung von 33 Teilen 1-(2.5-Di- chlor-4-sulfophenyl)-3-methyl-5-pyrazolon ein laufen. Die Kupplung ist nach kurzer Zeit beendet. Der Farbstoff wird dann ausgesalzen, nach einigen Stunden abgepresst und bei etwa 50 C getrocknet.
Process for the preparation of an azo dye. The main patent relates to a process for the preparation of an azo dye, in wel chem the diazo compound of 1-amino-4-rhodanobenzene is combined with 1- (2-oxy-3-carboxy-5-sulfophenyl) -3-methyl-5-pyrazolori.
It has now been found that a new azo dye of excellent fastness properties is also obtained if the diazo compound of 1-amino-4-rhodanobenzene is combined with 1- (2.5-dichloro-4-sulfophenyl) -3-methyl-5-pyrazolone .
The dye obtainable in this way dyes wool in clear yellow shades and is particularly notable for its exceptionally good fastness to washing and boiling. Its other properties, such as lightfastness and evenness, are also excellent.
<I> Example: </I> An aqueous, hydrochloric acid solution of 15 parts of 1-amino-4-rhodanobenzene is diazotized at 0 C and, after a few minutes, the diazo solution is left in a cooled soda-alkaline solution of 33 parts of 1 - (2.5-dichloro-4-sulfophenyl) -3-methyl-5-pyrazolone run in. The coupling ends after a short time. The dye is then salted out, pressed out after a few hours and dried at about 50 ° C.
