Description

Back-, Roch-, Wärme- und Dörrapparat.

Baking, Roch, warming and drying apparatus. The present invention relates to a baking, cooking, heating and dehydrating apparatus which, prior to known, similar purposes, differs from the nenden apparatus in particular by the fact that burning of the goods to be treated cannot normally occur.

In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is shown by Fig. 1 in vertical center section, by Fig. 2 on a smaller scale in plan.

Four bow-shaped curved, with one leg on the base b, z. B. a stove, resting metal rods a form a cross and are firmly connected to each other at the inner ends of their upper horizontal legs by a disc c.

These four rods support two round asbestos plates e with openings in spaced apart angles d on the underside of their upper legs, the diameter of which is noticeably smaller than the distance between the vertical parts of two rods with the same diameter. A fairly wide annular space g therefore remains open between the circumference of these disks e and a jacket f surrounding the cross formed by the bars a.

Through this, as indicated by arrows in Fig. 1, from the burner herkom coming heating gases rise, with fine fresh air entering through recesses n of the jacket accelerates their complete combustion so that they do not reach the cooking vessel as flames. Furthermore, the perforations in one disk e are laterally offset from those in the other disk, so that normally the flames generated under the lower disk e do not pass over the upper disk and reach the vessel 1.

On the other hand, the vertical distance between the disks e is to be chosen large enough to bezw a correct flow of the flames. Obtain heating gases.

In the example shown, a sheet metal ring i is loosely placed on the upper edge of the sheet metal jacket f. On its inside angle pieces k are attached, on which a cake pan t is placed in the example shown, but on which a wire mesh, a grate, or any other suitable carrier for goods to be treated in the apparatus can be placed. If you want to use rings i without angle pieces 1c, you can use differently designed inserts as a carrier of the goods to be treated.

It can be seen without further ado that baking molds, pans and the like that are inserted into the apparatus in the manner indicated normally do not come into contact with the flames emerging from the burner h thanks to the asbestos disks e between them, but only from heating gases that are no longer burning be coated. This avoids any burning of the baked, heated or cooked food and also makes it possible to use the device for drying fruit, vegetables and other goods. For this last-mentioned purpose, if necessary, several identical rings, which can be placed directly on the casing, are placed one on top of the other, each containing a sieve or the like with angled pieces .

If necessary, cooking vessels can also be placed directly on the crossbar a.

The device formed by the arms a and the asbestos disks e held by them can also be used on its own by any heat source, e.g. B. also use in an oven or an electric stove, i. H. wherever it is a question of reliably preventing the food being cooked, baked, heated or dried.

If cooking is to take place on the present apparatus, the food to be cooked is initially left in the usual manner, i.e. H. on an ordinary stove, bring to the boil and cook for a few minutes. Then you put it in the same cooking vessel in the preheated apparatus arranged above a burner and let it continue to cook over a very small flame. The food will not burn, even if it has been used for hours.

The apparatus is expediently kept closed at the top during operation, which th by a hood or with advantage by a vessel filled with water or other material to be warmed or kept warm, eg. B. a caldor, a pot or the like can be done, which is placed on the coat f or the top ring i .

In order to reduce heat losses through radiation through the jacket f, this can be provided with a heat-insulating coating on the inside. The same applies to the attachment rings i.

Instead of asbestos, the plates e can consist of other heat-insulating, incombustible material.
