Description

Footwear with rubber soles Process for its manufacture. The invention relates to a footwear with a sole made of solid rubber and a method for its production.

According to the invention, the sole made of solid rubber is indirectly connected to the shaft by a porous rubber compound which is enveloped by the sole.

To produce this footwear, a process can be used in which a cavity in the solid rubber sole facing the finished form is filled with a porous rubber-forming mixture, the upper edge is brought into contact with it and the rubber mixture is then vulcanized so that the porous rubber mass forms the solid rubber sole and connects the shaft together.

Embodiments of the footwear according to the invention and devices that can be used for their manufacture are explained below with reference to the drawing: The drawing shows in FIGS. 1 to 4 each a cross section through a shoe in the vulcanization equipment used for its manufacture.

In all examples, the shoe has an upper 1, which is pulled with the insole 2 over the last 8 and placed on the solid rubber awl 3. Where the sole is connected to the shaft, it has a cavity which is filled with porous rubber 6, for example with foam rubber compound, into which the shaft edge protrudes. This porous rubber, which is enveloped on three sides by the sole 3, connects the shaft and the sole in a firm and permanent manner. It is particularly advisable to keep the degree of porosity of the foam rubber mass between 25 and 75% and to use highly plasticized rubber.

With this degree of porosity, for example 50% porosity, half of the total volume of the foam rubber compound is formed by rubber, the other half by gas-filled cavities. To the outside, the porous rubber mass is covered by the upstanding side edge 5 of the solid rubber sole, which rests with its running surface d in the example of FIG.

The sole is held laterally in the vulcanization frame by an angled strip 12 running all the way round, which extends right up to the seliaft.

In order to protect the porous rubber mass, which fulfills the hollow roughness, even more against external stresses, the solid rubber sole can also be designed so that it is also the upper one, as is also shown in cross section in FIG. forms the horizontal edge of the sole, so that the porous rubber compound is enclosed on all sides. The vulcanization frame 13 can be made in one piece. To reduce the weight of the full rubber sole, the space under the insole 2 is filled with light material, such as cork or felt. Between the porous rubber 6i and the filling mass that fills the space 3 '. a rib d 'made of solid rubber is arranged.

In the execution of the Schulhes according to the cross-section shown in Fig. 3, the rib 4 'is omitted and the Vulkani sationsrahmen 14 open ausgebil det upwards. The side edge 5 of the solid rubber sole is thickened and the upper, horizontal edge part 5 ″ is designed to taper towards the shaft so that the shaft can be supported against the edge 5 ″. Cross ribs 41 ver strengthen the upper edge of the sole 5 ".

In some cases, as shown in cross section in Fig. 7, the solid rubber sole 3 under the insole 2 may be formed with raised ribs b2 to achieve good ventilation. On the shaft 1 made of rubber, fabric or the like. Be standing strip 50 is attached. which covers the upper, horizontal edge of the sole and is supported on the edge 51 of the solid rubber sole 3 and is held there by the porous rubber, that is to say the foam rubber compound 6. In this case one sole part, the upper horizontal edge part, is only connected to the other sole parts through vulcanization. In this way, a sole consisting of more than two parts can also be put together during vulcanization.

The method of the invention is carried out roughly as follows. that first a hollow solid rubber insole, which is preferably pre-vulcanized and already has the finished form, is produced. Inlays made of felt, cork or the like and rubber mixtures forming foam rubber are inserted into the cavities of this sole, the sole is then placed on the edge of the shaft and the rubber mixtures are vulcanized. During the vulcanization of the foam rubber, it connects this with the saft and the sole. At the same time, the full gunsolile a.lt@svullzanized.
