Trockenrasierapparat.
Dry shaver. There are known dry shavers in which the usually elektromecha cally driven knife is moved back and forth over a comb to be guided over the point to be shaved. Experience shows that the back and forth movement of the knife has various disadvantages. First of all, the back and forth movement of the cutting organ, which is usually made in a comb-like manner, causes undesirable loosening of the hair roots and irritation of the skin, which causes inflammation in sensitive areas of the skin. This disadvantage is particularly noticeable because of the design of this.
Apparatus means that the apparatus has to be repeatedly passed over the same area of skin, since the. the first pass of the apparatus, the majority of the hairs are bent through the ridges of the protective comb and pressed onto the skin, so they cannot be captured by the knife. An important prerequisite for smooth grasping and cutting of the hair is good tightening of the skin area; which is made more difficult by the back and forth movement of the knife.
The subject of the invention is a dry shaver with a mechanically driven cutting element, which is characterized in that the cutting element rotates inside a protective sleeve.
The design of the apparatus according to the invention means that the friction on the skin surface caused by the cutting element is only effective in one direction.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown schematically.
In Fig. 1, 1 is a cylindrical sleeve consisting of the handle part la and the comb sleeve lb. In the handle la the elec tric drive motor 2 is arranged, the rotor 3 shields by means of the shafts 4 in the bearing 5 is mounted. The motor can be connected to the electrical line by means of the plug contacts 6. The disk 7, which carries the knife 8 in the form of a cylindrical sleeve, is screwed tightly to the motor shaft 4 by means of the screw 4a, so that the knife rotates on the motor shaft in a floating manner.
As can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, the comb sleeve 1b is provided with a slot 9 running parallel to the motor axis, the edges 10 of which are designed in a comb shape. The cutting edges are formed by slots which run in the thin-walled knife sleeve 8 in the form of a steep thread.
Fig. 4 shows the cutting cylinder 8 with the slots 13, which form the cutting edges and run in the manner of a multiple coarse thread.
As can be seen from Fig. 1, a thread 12 is arranged on the handle part la, onto which the protective sleeve 11 can be screwed, which can be screwed on from the other side when the apparatus is not in use.
The arrangement of the slot 9 in the comb sleeve 1b ensures that the cutting element acts directly on the skin surface. This eliminates the disadvantage of the protective combs upstream of the knife. which consists in the fact that between the skin surface and the cutting edge of the knife there is a space corresponding to the thickness of the protective comb, so that the knife engages at a greater or lesser distance from the skin surface, where the lower resistance of the hair simply bends the Hair favored by the knife edge.
Fig. 5 shows in cross section a Ausfüh approximate shape of the cutting member, in which the same sits in the form of a helical spring be. The wire of semicircular cross-section forming the cutting element 8 is attached to the bushing 13 which can be screwed onto the spin del of the motor.
Instead of the semicircular cross-section of the wire forming the cutting element, a triangular cross-section can be selected, for example, which in turn can be varied, for example according to FIGS. 6a, 6b and 6e, in which X is the cut surface and 8 denotes the cutting edge. As shown in Fig. 7, the cutting surface X can be inclined such that only Lich the tip S slides on the inner wall of the comb sleeve 1b, whereby the friction and thus the heating of the cutting head is reduced.
The comb sleeve 1b can be designed, for example, in such a way that it has a comb-like longitudinal slot on one side, as shown in FIG. 3, and on the opposite side a comb without a longitudinal slot. In this case, depending on what you want to shave more or less, you can run one or the other part of the comb over the area to be shaved.
