Description

Weft spool replacement device for hose heads. The invention relates to a device for the automatic insertion of hose heads into the shuttle without the loom being turned off.

There are known looms in which a new bobbin is brought to the shuttle from above when the weft yarn runs out. These either work with hose-head containers to be inserted into the shooter, or the weft yarn used must first be wound onto solid bodies. In the case of other devices, special mechanical holding means were provided in the shooter, which are under spring action and had to be actuated by the impact device.

The present invention makes it possible to automatically process hose heads that are used without rewinding and without the hose head container to be introduced into the shuttle, and furthermore without mechanical holding means to be operated by special devices in the shuttle. In this case, the invention achieves that when the weft thread tears, ie the first time the weft is missing, the goods transport is initially turned off, while the loom itself is only turned off if the weft thread is missing twice.

But it is to be achieved who the, that after the end of the cop, when the weft thread is missing for the first time, a changing device comes into effect, which causes an automatic introduction of the new cop without shutting down the chair.

The inventive Auswechselvor device is characterized in that the weft bobbin is inserted in the alternating moment in a shuttle which has projections on the upper edges, which give way when the cop enters the moving direction, the bobbin wrapping device is actuated by a mechanical device which only interrupts the transport of goods if the weft thread is missing once, and switches off the loom if the eye thread is missing twice,

the bobbin exchange mechanism but when. If the weft thread is missing for the first time, the cop feeler releases a blockage of the weft bobbin as a result of the weft bobbin running off.

In a special embodiment of the device, the hose-head protection 3 (FIGS. 14 and 15), which is known per se and is open at the top and bottom, is guided in the contactor box on the replacement side only between the fixed contactor box front wall 62 and the spring-loaded contactor box tongue 60 and the rear inner one Protect wall shaped so

that when a new full head becomes necessary before the head expires due to a broken eye thread, the old head to be pushed out by this pushes the shooter against the action of the shooter box tongue so far against the shooter box rear wall 63 that the exit opening 58, which is normally largely covered by the shooter, in the Schützenkastpnbodenplatte for the passage of the ejected Kopses is released.

The invention can be carried out in various ways. Various types of execution are exemplified in the drawing, namely: Fig.l in plan the left and right side of the loom, Fig. 2 is a cross-section in elevation along line II of Fig. 1, with filled shuttle, Fig. 3 the setting of the cop sensor after the coping has expired, FIG. 4 a section along line II-II in FIG. 1 when the Wechselvorrich device is in the rest position, FIG. 5 the same section when the changeable shaft is actuated, FIG a section along line III-III of FIG. 1 of the cop insertion device in the state of rest, FIG. 7 the setting of the cop insertion at the moment of advancement, FIG.

18 the setting of the cop insertion and cutting device in the working position.

The design and mode of operation of the device shown in FIGS. 1 to 7 are as follows: On the opposite side of the coil feed device 1, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a head sensor device is arranged.

This consists of a feeler bracket 2, which is in contact with the cop 4 lying in the Schüt zen 3 as long as there is still weft yarn in the iSchützen. When the drawer 5 is pivoted forward, the sensor bracket 2 is pivoted in the direction of arrow a.

The feeler bracket 2 sits on the shaft 6, which carries a hook lever 7 which, when the shaft is rotated, grasps in a slot 8 of a rod 9 which is articulated to the lever 11 by means of the Bol zens 10. The lever 11 is firmly connected to the interchangeable shaft 12. As long as there is still twine in shuttle 3,

Thus, the hook lever 7 prevents rotation of the interchangeable shaft 12 by engaging in the slot 8 of the lever 9. Shortly before the weft thread runs out, however, the feeler bracket 2 moves into the position shown in FIG. 3 so that the rod 9 is released. The feeler bracket 2 and its accessories serve as a safety sensor so that when the weft thread breaks, no second cop is hit on the cap in the shooter.

By coupling the sensor shaft directly to the shooting fork, the coping mechanism can also be controlled by this cop sensor.

In order to switch off the transport of goods for the first time the weft thread is missing when the weft thread breaks, since the device shown in FIGS. 1, 4, 5 and 8 is provided against a second time the weft thread is missing.

For this purpose, a weft sensor 14 rests on the weft thread 13, which is designed as a fork at the sensing end. This shot sensor is designed as a rotatable angle lever 14, 14a, which is least 16 rotatable about the bolt 15 of a Schlit. This carriage is formed by a rectangular frame which is guided in a guide 17 of the breast tree 18. At the rear, the slide has an arm 16a that is free standing downwards, the end of which is connected by a strong helical spring 19 to a lever 20 that is fixedly attached to the changeable shaft 12. An angle lever 22, 22a which can be rotated about the axis 21 and which acts as a feed lever for the carriage and is actuated by a continuously rotating cam disk 23 extends through a slot in the carriage 16.

At the upper end of the lever arm 22, a train hook 25 is aasgelenken within the carriage 16 around the bolt 24, which finds its guidance on a surface of the carriage 16. On the side of the slide a nose 26 is provided, which rests against a spring-loaded rotatable switch-off lever 27 for the goods transport, against the upper end of a on the slide guide 17 rotatably ge superimposed locking hook 28 is plant.

On the chest tree is a standing under the action of the spring 29 parking slide 30 rotatable about the bolt 31 ge superimposed and by the arrangement of the slot 32 in which the pivot 31 rests, except for the slidable. This shut-off slide rests laterally against the switch-off lever 27.

The change shaft 12 is passed through to the other side of the loom up to the weft bobbin insertion device (see FIGS. 6 and 7). There it carries a lever 33 which, when pivoting, acts on a rotatable pusher 35 which is articulated on the double lever 34. The double lever 34 is ver by means of the tension spring 36 with a slider 37 a related party, which introduces the new hose heads 39 supplied from a guide sleeve 38 as it is pushed through a lateral opening 40 of the guard 3 into this.

In order to prevent the hose cop from automatically rolling away, a rotatable flap 41 is provided below the cop feed sleeve 38. The sley 5 be seated a protruding shoulder 42, which acts against the pusher 35 when the slack is advanced and thereby causes the lever 34 to be turned over. A nose 34a prevents. that the pusher 35 is hit too high.

After entering the, shooters 3 (Fig. 6 and 7), the cop 4 is through a flap 46, respectively. held in place by projections 47 or 48 (Figs. 11 and 12).

The operation of the device is as follows: the weft sensor 14 is brought with its loop-shaped arm 14a, as long as there is still weft yarn in the shuttle, when the sley 5 goes out of the area of the draw hook 25. This is set in a reciprocating motion by the cam plate 23 by means of the angle lever 22, 22a (see FIGS. 4 and 5).

As soon as the gops has run out, that is to say the weft thread is missing, the eyelet-shaped arm 14a of the weft fork 14 falls over the hook 25 and is taken along by this during the next movement. As a result, the carriage l6 is moved in the direction of the arrow b (see FIG. 4) at the same time. At this moment, the arm 16a rotates the interchangeable shaft 12 through the spring connection 19. As a result, the pusher 35 is pivoted up by means of the lever 33 and brought into the area of the sley attachment 42.

The next time the drawer moves, that is, when the shooter is on the magazine side, the pusher 35 is pushed back through the projection 42, as shown in FIG. 7, and thereby the lever 34 pivots. As a result, the slide moves over 37 to the left, and a new cop is fed to the laterally open shooter 3 (see FIGS. 6 and 7) through the recess 40. The flap 41, which is attached to the cop container 38, forms the upper guide when the cop is inserted, the projection 43 of the sley the lower guide. The flap 41 could also be mounted below. It is pushed back when the coil enters and, after the slide 37 has retreated, it lies down again in front of the coil that is now sliding down from the guide sleeve.

The spool can also be held in place by other elastic means, as described below. happen. After introduction of the new coil all parts take the position shown in Fig. 6 again.

The mode of action when a weft thread breaks is as follows: When the weft thread breaks, the free arm 14a of the weft sensor grips via the pulling hook 25; is now moved by the rotation of the neck disk 23 by means of the lever 22, 22a of the draw hook in the direction of arrow b, the carriage 16 is moved to the right exactly as with an expired coil. But since the interchangeable shaft 12 is blocked by the head sensor 2 and its rotation is prevented, the lever 20 can not be taken along who the. There is only a tension of the train spring 19 instead. Due to the displacement of the slide 16, however, the nose 26 entrains the switch-off lever 27, which comes under the pawl 28 and is blocked here.

By moving the lever 27, the goods transport is switched off in a suitable manner, not shown in the drawing, for example by a clutch.

However, if the torn weft thread caught itself again immediately or during the next tour, or if, for example, the device was activated by a loose weft thread and the weft thread was only then stretched again, the weft sensor 14, 14a is pivoted again, and the draw hook 25 now moves without taking the carriage 16 with it.

Here, the upper end 22b of the lever 22 pushes against the pawl 28, whereby the lever 27 is released again and returns to its normal position due to the spring tension (see FIG. 4).

Here, as a result of the rounding from 30a of the stop slide 30, this is brought from its position according to FIG. 8 into the ineffective position according to FIG. This facility avoids the situation where the loom is shut down immediately if it is loosened once or if the weft thread is torn and catches immediately. In this case, the goods transport is only switched off.

However, if the weft thread breaks and does not catch again, the device works as follows: If the lever 27 is held in place by the locking hook 28, after the carriage 16 moves forward again, the tension spring 29 of the parking slide 30 can swivel these so that whose nose 30b ge reached in the areas of the nose 26 of the carriage (see FIGS. 1 and 8).

If the weft thread is missing a second time, the second return of the carriage 16 presses the nose 26 against the nose 30b of the parking slide 30, taking it along, and this acts on the parking rod 44 for the loom.

If necessary, the transmission for the purpose of shutting down the loom can also take place by other means, in particular also by Bowden cables, by lever or linkage transmissions or possibly also by electrical means. As noted above, if the weft thread breaks and catches again, the goods transport is switched off by means of the switch-off lever 27. In the case of automatic shutdown, i.e. if the weft thread is missing twice, the transport of goods is suspended during two tours. Since no picker is required when shooting with a front opening, which has to clear the upper shooting opening, it is also possible to provide two wide Schützenfüh ments.

In FIG. 9, an embodiment of a cop feed is shown in which the cop is introduced from above by means of a double lever 34 with a single spring action, to which the pusher 35 is hinged. For this purpose, the double lever 34 is designed as a bracket 45. When to put this acts on the from above, for example through any feed in front of the upper opening 40a of the shooter 3 head pushed forward and pushes it into the shooter. With this device, of course, a guide device must be provided for the cop so that it does not roll away by itself.

The head can also slide upwards out of the shooter by means of flaps 46 other than those shown in FIGS. 6, 7 and 9, for example as shown in FIG. 11, through the opening-narrowing cams 47 or, as shown in FIG - Provided, by elastic cams 48, or as illustrated in FIG. 13, by bristles 49 or the like directed obliquely towards the inside of the shooter. The tips of the bristles sit down after the head is hit and hold it tight.

In Figure 13 it is shown at the same time that the pivot axis of the bracket 45 facing the inner edge 56 of the shooter opening 40 is rounded or rounded. is beveled so that the incoming new cop can enter the front dead center position without hindrance before he rich. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 10 it is shown that a sickle-shaped knife 51 can be attached to the drawer lid 50, by means of which the beginning of the thread 52 is cut off when the drawer goes back.

This knife can, however, also be switched on as a movable knife 78. In this case, it is fastened to a shaft 72 BE, which is mounted in the picker spindle head. The actuation then takes place by means of a roller or a pin which is attached to the cop pusher 45 and runs onto the elevation 74.

Furthermore, (see Fig. 14 and 15) the contactor box on the replacement side can be much wider than the shooter requires, so that the hose-head shooter, which is open at the top and bottom in the contactor box on the replacement side, is only between the front wall of the fixed contactor box 62 and the spring-loaded shooter box tongue 60 and the rear inner shooter wall 57 is shaped in such a way that a new one is introduced in the event of a weft thread breakage before the cop runoff due to, for example, failure of the cop feel.

full gopses the old kops to be pushed out by the shooter moves the shooter against the action of the shooter box tongue so far against the shooter box rear wall 63 that the exit opening 58, which is normally largely covered by the shooter, in the shooter box base plate 61 is released for the passage of the gops 4 to be ejected becomes.

The displacement of the shooter against the rear wall of the contactor box can be facilitated by the fact that the head pusher 45 is mounted in such a way that it hits the full head 39 to be hammered into the shooter in a direction slightly inclined towards the rear wall of the contactor box.

The flap 46, respectively. the pad 48, 49 and pad 59 prevent this ge together the emergence of the head. Instead of the flap 46, a pad can also be used. If the cop replacement is initiated by a cop sensor, which comes into operation shortly before the weft thread runs out or, for example, if the weft thread breaks, the new cop must eject the remains of the cop from the shuttle.

When pressing in the new cop can in this case at the same time the weft of the, Kopsrestes by a cutting device 72, 73 and 74 from Ge tissue are separated (see Fig. 17 and 18). This can also work like a punch.

A sticking of the ejected cop remainder in the shop block 5 (Fig. 14 and 15) is prevented by the fact that the shop block is provided with an ejection channel 64 which is directed towards the front of the shop block below the contactor box base plate 61, which is provided with an outlet slot 58, and a positively controlled ejector below the contactor box base plate 65 is seen before, which ejects the Kopsrest to be ejected forward through the slot in the contactor box base plate.

To make it easier to move the shuttle. the contactor box tongue 60 (FIG. 16) is rotatably supported by means of an elongated slot 68 about its pivot pin 67 and is loaded by a spring 69 acting in the direction of the elongated slot except through the spring-loaded trigger lever 75. There is thus the possibility that the entire contactor box tongue 60 yields and the archer can lie against the contactor box rear wall 68. This is achieved. that the exit slot 58 in the contactor box base plate 61 is released for the passage of the ejected remains of the cop.
