Description
Pompe à eau comportant une roue à. ailettes. La présente invention a pour objet une pompe à eau comportant une roue à ailettes et destinée, par exemple, à la circulation de l'eau dans les moteurs à combustion interne.
La pompe selon l'invention est caracté risée en ce que l'arbre portant la roue à ai- lettes est monté dans un palier à rotule et en ce que l'étanchéité entre cet arbre et le coTps de pompe est assurée par un palier anti friction, les surfaces en contact de ce palier étant formées par des parties de sphère de même rayon, dont les centres coïncident avec le centre du palier à rotule, autour duquel l'arbre de la roue à ailettes oscille pour se placer dans l'alignement,
ces surfaces étant maintenues appliquées l'une sur l'autre par un .ressort et formant entre elles un joint étanche à l'eau.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention. L'unique figure de ce dessin en est une vue en coupe long tudinale par tielle.
L'arbre a portant la roue à ailettes b est monté dans un palier à rotule à billes c, le centre de la surface sphérique d de ce palier étant situé au point e, lequel est le centre au tour duquel l'arbre a oscille pour se placer dans l'alignement.
L'arbre présente un collier f qui pour rait aussi être, monté sur lui, et dont une face présente la forme d'une partie de sphère dont le centre est au point e, cette face appuyant, sous l'action d'un ressort<I>f 1,</I> sur im anneau<I>g</I> serti dans un logement de la paroi du corps de pompe traversée par l'arbre.
Cet anneau g est en charbon ou en un autre matériel ou métal antifriction et la face en contact avec le collier f de cet anneau présente aussi la forme d'une partie de sphère, dont le centre est au point e.
II résulte de la conformation susdéerite des surfaces en contact des organes f et g et de leur position par rapport au centre, au tour duquel oscille l'arbre a pour se pla:
