Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Gemisches von     isomeren        1-Methyl-3-di-(r-ehlor-          oxypropyl)-amino-4-methoxy-        benzolen.       Nach dem im Hauptpatent beschriebenen  Verfahren erhält man ein Gemisch von     iso-          meren        Di-(y-chlor-oxypropyl)-aminobenzolen,     wenn man Anilin mit     Epichlorhydrin    im     Mol-          verhältnis    1 :2 in einem     organischen    Lö  sungsmittel bei     Siedetemperatur    des letzt  genannten zur     Umsetzung    bringt;

   dabei kann       Epichlorhydrin    auch in einem     Überschuss    be  nutzt werden.  



  Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur     Herstellung    eines Ge  misches von     isomeren        1-Methyl-3-di-(y-cblor-          oxypropyl)-amino-4-methoxybenzolen,    wel  ches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man       1-Methyl-3-amino-4-methoxybenzol    mit     Epi-          chlorhydrin    im     Molverhältnis    1 : 2 in einem  organischen Lösungsmittel beim     Siedepunkt     des letztgenannten zur Umsetzung bringt;

    man kann dabei auch einen     Überschuss    an       Epichlorhydrin        benutz?n,       Das erhaltene Gemisch ist zur Verwen  dung bei der     Herstellung    von Farbstoffen be  stimmt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  685 Teile     1-Methyl-3-amino-4-methoxy-          benzol    werden mit 1000 Teilen Methanol und  1030 Teilen     Epichlorhydrin    während 16 Stun  den am     Rückflusskühler    gekocht. Darauf de  stilliert man das Methanol ab und     verrührt     den Rückstand mit 500 Teilen Wasser. Das  erhaltene     Isomerengemisch    enthält einen  durch Zusatz von Säure     kristallinisch        aus-          scheidbaren    Körper vom Schmelzpunkt 200  bis 201  .

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Ge misches von isomeren 1-Methyl-3-di-(y-cblor- oxypropyl) - amino - 4 - methoxybenzolen, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1-Methyl-3- amino-4-methoxybenzol mit Epichlorhydrin im Molverhältnis 1 : 2 bei Gegenwart eines Lösungsmittels beim Siedepunkt des letzt genannten zur Umsetzung bringt.
