Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung einer äls Netz-, Emulgier-, Reinigungs- und Waschmittel verwendbaren Verbindung. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer als Netz-, Emulgier-, Reinigungs- und Waschmittel verwendbaren Verbindung, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1 Mol. des Einwirkungsproduktes von Natriumbisulfit auf Crotonaldehyd mit 2 Mol. 4-tert. Amyl- phenol kondensiert.
Das Natriumsalz der so erhaltenen SuHonsäure, ein helles, in Wasser farblos lösliches Pulver, zeigt schon in sehr verdünnten Lösungen vorzügliche kapillar aktive Eigenschaften und ist als hervor ragendes Netzmittel, aber auch als Emul- gier-, Reinigungs- und Waschmittel verwend bar.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 328 Teile 4-tert. Amylphenol werden bei <B>30'</B> eingetragen in eine Mischung von 900 Teilen konz. Schwefelsäure und 450 Teilen Eisessig. Dazu gibt man die 1. Mol. entspre chende Menge des Einwirkungsproduktes von 70 Teilen Crotonaldehyd auf 850 Teile Na- triumbisulfitlösung (enthaltend 24,5 Gew. SO2) und rührt weiter, bis eine Probe voll ständig klar wasserlöslich und kein umver ändertes Amylphenol mehr vorhanden ist.
Man vervollständigt die Abscheidung des Kondensationsproduktes durch Verrühren mit Kochsalz- oder Glaubersalzlösung und trennt das harzig ausgeschiedene Konden sationsprodukt von der sauren Mutterlauge. Durch Neutralisieren mit Natronlauge erhält man ein praktisch farblos in Wasser lösliches Produkt, welches sich durch Eindampfen in fester pulveriger Forxu gewinnen lässt. Es be sitzt ein gutes Netzvermögen und ist auch in stark sauren Lösungen beständig.

The sodium salt of the resulting sulphonic acid, a pale powder that is colorlessly soluble in water, shows excellent capillary-active properties even in very dilute solutions and can be used as an excellent wetting agent, but also as an emulsifying, cleaning and washing agent.
<I> Example: </I> 328 parts 4-tert. Amylphenol are entered at <B> 30 '</B> in a mixture of 900 parts of conc. Sulfuric acid and 450 parts of glacial acetic acid. The corresponding amount of the action product of 70 parts of crotonaldehyde is added to this is.
The separation of the condensation product is completed by stirring with common salt or Glauber's salt solution and the resinous condensation product is separated from the acidic mother liquor. By neutralizing with sodium hydroxide solution, a practically colorless water-soluble product is obtained, which can be obtained by evaporation in a solid, powdery forxu. It has good wetting properties and is stable even in strongly acidic solutions.
