Das auf dem Anhängewagen angeordnete Steuerventil 10 ist durch zwei auf einem an den Enden offenen Rohrstück 11 sitzende Kolben 1;
2, 13 und eine Zwischenwand 14 in vier Kammern 15, 16, 1\7 und 18 unterteilt, von denen die Kammer 15 durch den, Stutzen 19 mit der Aussenluft, die Kammer 1,6 durch -den Anschlussstutzen 20 mit ,der vom Führer- ventil des Zugwagens kommenden Brems- druckleitung 21;
-dessen unteres Ende 32 ver schliessen.
Wenn während der Fahrt gebremst wer den soll, lässt der Wagenführer aus dem Bremsdruckleitung 2-1 Druckluft entweichen, so @dass sich der Druck in der Kammer 1,6 vermindert und der Druck in der Kammer 17 .die Kolben 12., 13 und das Ilohrstüok nach unten schiebt, wodurch der Ventilteller .31 von seinem Sitz -2:9 abgehoben;

Single-chamber pressure medium brake for trailer vehicles. The invention relates to a single-chamber pressure medium brake for trailer vehicles of motor vehicles with a. to be arranged in the trailer, to the brake pressure line coming from the towing vehicle, the pressure medium storage tank of the trailer and the trailer brake cylinder. Connected control valve, which is actuated by pressure changes in the brake pressure line, and with one. from.
Hand adjustable auxiliary valve is provided with its. Help when the trailer is uncoupled, the brake shoes can be tightened and released.
In a known brake of this type, the auxiliary valve is placed in the connecting line between: the control valve and the brake pressure line, so that when Ver provide the auxiliary valve for loosening and pulling the jaws of the uncoupled trailer, the control valve in the same way as in. Driving mode is actuated by pressure changes. At,; that pudgy nose sore.
Pressure medium off. the storage tank of the trailer not only for actuating the brake cylinder. itself, but also consumed additionally for the control venti.l.
However, this is disadvantageous, since the trailer's storage container is naturally of limited size and, as a result, its contents anyway. is only sufficient for a limited number of braking operations.
In order to reduce the pressure medium consumption of a chamber brake to a minimum when the trailer is uncoupled, according to the invention the auxiliary valve is connected downstream of the control valve in such a way that the trailer brake cylinder, which is to be influenced during normal driving via the control valve, passes through the auxiliary valve can be connected directly to the pressure medium reservoir or the outside air. An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing, namely FIG.
1 shows a sketch of the trailer brake, with the auxiliary valve in the driving position, FIG. 2 shows a sketch of the auxiliary valve in the release position and FIG. 3 shows a sketch of the auxiliary valve in the braking position.
The control valve 10 arranged on the trailer is supported by two pistons 1;
2, 13 and a partition 14 divided into four chambers 15, 16, 1 \ 7 and 18, of which the chamber 15 through the nozzle 19 with the outside air, the chamber 1,6 through the connection nozzle 20 with the operator - valve of the towing vehicle coming brake pressure line 21;
the chamber 17 is connected by the line 22 to the compressed air tank 23 of the trailer and the chamber 18 is connected to the trailer brake cylinder 25 by the line 24. From (the chamber 16 leads via the overflow sleeve 216, which acts as a check valve, a close connection to the chamber 17.
The pipe section 11 penetrates a hole 2 ', 8, which touches a chamber 27 below the chamber 19, -the edge of which serves as a seat 2 # 9 for a valve disk 31 pushed up by a spring 30.
This valve plate .3i1 can, in certain .Stellungen this pipe section 11 also. -Close its lower end 32. The chamber 27 is through a line 33 continuously: the chamber 17 respectively. the compressed air tank 23 connected.
In the line 24 leading from the control valve 10 to the brake cylinder 215, a reusable web 34 is switched on, the chick 8.5 by hand, for example: by a lever 36, is adjustable and its housing except for the connections 317, 3.8 for the parts of the line 24 an opening 39 leading to the outside air and one:
Connection 40 for a line 41 connected to the compressed air tank 23. The chick has a transverse channel 42 and a short circumferential groove 43. The brake works as follows: In the driving position, the moving parts of the control valve 10 and the straw chick 35 in the fingertips. 1 visible position.
The chamber 16 is filled with compressed air from the brake pressure line 21. The same pressure also prevails in chamber 17, container 2'3, lines 22, 33, 41 and chamber 2, 7. The valve disk closes the bore 28 and the lower end of the pipe 32 In the chamber 18, the line 24 and the brake cylinder 25 there is outside air pressure.
If you want to brake while driving, the driver lets compressed air escape from the brake pressure line 2-1, so that the pressure in chamber 1,6 is reduced and the pressure in chamber 17, pistons 12, 13 and the like Ilohrstüok pushes down, whereby the valve plate .31 is lifted from its seat -2: 9;
becomes. Now can go. Reservoir 23 can flow through the chamber 27 into the chamber 18 and from there through the line 24 and the KükenkanaJ 42 into the brake cylinder 25. The trailer brake shoes are tightened.
As soon as the pressure in the chamber 18 has reached an increase corresponding to the pressure reduction in the chambers 16, the piston 12, 13 re-enters. State of equilibrium,
in which the pistons are again in their central position according to FIG. 1 and the valve disk 3.1 is on its seat 20.
moo. The braking force now achieved is maintained until the driver either by further reducing the pressure in line 21, re-opens the bore 2 $ and thus increases the braking pressure in the cylinder <RTI
ID = "0002.0156"> 2.5 or interrupts the braking process by increasing the Dreeke in line 21. When the pressure in the line 21 is increased, go @ the pistons 12, 1.3 # and the pipe piece 1.1 rigidly connected to them upwards,
so that the pipe end 32 detaches itself from the expanding plate 341 and the compressed air from the brake cylinder: 25, the line 24 and the chamber 18 via the pipe section 11 into the chamber 15 and from there into the open; can escape .. The trailer brake shoes turn this way.
During the journey, the supply container 23 is always refilled via the overflow sleeve 26 from the towing vehicle. If the trailer is uncoupled or if it breaks off, the compressed air escapes, the line 2s1 and the chamber 16, the control pistons 121, 113: go down and the trailer brake shoes are compressed by compressed air from the reservoir 23, in the above, described; Way dressed. At the end or braking there is to both:
Sides of the piston 12 external air pressure and on the sides of the piston 13 container pressure, the control pistons again being in the central region shown in FIG.
To move: the uncoupled vehicle it is necessary to operate the brake shoes. This is done by means of the cock, 34. To release the brake shoes wildly in the trap Sam the tap. from the driving position I (Fig. 1) to the release position II (Fig.
2) ge rotates, in which the groove 43 of the cock plug 35 connects the brake cylinder connection .38 with the Aus, - laBiöffnunag .319 and the compressed air from the brake cylinder 25 can escape directly into the open ..: If the brake shoes are to be tightened again, so the cock winds from position II to position III (Fig., 3), whereupon compressed air from the container. 2.3 bypassing tax chambers 16, 1:
7 and 18i, of the control valve 10 flows directly through the line 41 and the channel 412 to the brake cylinder 25 and. . Moves the brake piston in the braking direction. When tightening and releasing the trailer brakes by means of the cock 3, 4 the control valve 10 remains completely switched off, so that when the trailer vehicle is coupled, the compressed air in the reservoir 23 is fully available for the immediate actuation of the brake piston .
additional compressed air consumption in the control valve 10 does not occur. After coupling the trailer, the cock Q34 is returned to driving position I, which can be done either manually or automatically with the aid of a return device (spring, pressure piston or the like).
The line 41 can be connected to the storage container 23 at any point. In the case of control valves such as the one shown with an external pressure chamber 27 that is permanently connected to the storage container, it is, however, expedient to connect line 41 to the connecting line, 313, between this chamber and the storage container or, even better, directly measure the chamber 27 itself to connect (as in Fig. 1 by; dashed lines. Intended) so that the bypass line is as short as possible.
