Description

  

      Verfahren    zur Darstellung eines wasserlöslichen     Kondensationsproduktes.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz  patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung  eines wasserlöslichen     Kondensationsproduktes,     dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man     Rohkresol-          sulfon,    wie es erhältlich ist durch Erhitzen  von     Rohkresol    mit Monohydrat und Erhitzen  der erhaltenen     Rohkresolmonosulfonsäure    mit       Rohkresol    im Vakuum,

   erst alkalisch mit  Formaldehyd     vorkondensiert    und dann mit  einem Gemisch aus neutralem und saurem       Sulfit    und Formaldehyd kondensiert, bis das  Harz, das beim Ansäuern ausfällt, in Wasser  klar löslich ist, worauf das Kondensat mit  verdünnter Mineralsäure behandelt und das  gefällte Harz abgetrennt wird.  



  Die neue Verbindung ist ein helles Pulver,  das in Wasser sehr gut löslich ist und in  saurer Lösung Blösse in ein weisses, gut  gefülltes Leder von sehr guter Lichtechtheit  verwandelt.  



       Beispiel:     100 Teile     Rohkresolsulfon,    hergestellt  durch Erhitzen von aus     Rohkresol    und Mono-         hydrat    in der Hitze erhaltener     Rohkresol-          monosulfonsäure    mit     Rohkresol    im Vakuum  gemäss der Patentschrift Nr.

   190422, 23 Teile       Natronlauge        30        %        und        50        Teile        Wasser        wer-          den        21/s    Stunden bei 100 0 C mit 16 Teilen       Formaldehyd        30        %ig        erhitzt.        Nach        Zugabe     von 28 Teilen     Natriumsulfit    wasserfrei und  einer Lösung von 35 Teilen     Natriumbisulfit         

   (25        %        SO2)        und        38        Teilen        Formaldehyd        30        %     wird so lange auf 100 0 C erhitzt (ca. 5 Stun  den), bis das Harz, das beim Ansäuern aus  fällt, in Wasser wieder klar löslich ist. Dann  wird der ganze Ansatz mit verdünnter Mineral  säure behandelt, das gefällte Harz abgetrennt,  getrocknet oder durch Verrühren mit Wasser  wieder gelöst. Vor der Verwendung als Gerb  stoffbrühe wird schwach sauer gestellt.
