Pièce d'horlogerie électrique. La présente invention a pour objet une pièce d'horlogerie électrique, du type à entre tien électrique du mouvement du balancier, caractérisée en ce que le balancier moteur à mouvement alternatif porte un plateau et une broche commandant la fourchette de l'échap pement;
Electric timepiece. The present invention relates to an electric timepiece, of the type with electric maintenance of the movement of the balance wheel, characterized in that the motor balance with reciprocating movement carries a plate and a spindle controlling the fork of the escapement;
this pin, conductor of the electric current, coming into contact alternately with two flexible strips riveted to a fixed cut part not insulated on the axis of the fork, and which has two stops limiting the approach of the strips, this assembly making a clean electrical contact , flexible and prolonged.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example and partially, one embodiment of the object of the invention and two variants.
Fig. 1 is a side view of the exhaust.
Fig. 2 is a plan view of FIG. 1. FIG. 6 is a detail view of the end of the fork and of the escapement wheel.
Figs. 4 and 5 represent two other variants of the fork and of the escapement wheel.
Figs. 6 and 7 are detail views showing the operation of the flexible contact blades.
The motor balance, not shown, is integral with the plate 1 carrying a pin 2 controlling the reciprocating movement of the fork. This spindle, conductor of the electric current transmitted to the plate 1 by the axis of the balance, alternately comes into contact with the two flexible blades 3 and 4, riveted to part 5 which is fixed, not insulated, on axis 6 of the fork. All the other parts mounted on the shaft of the chette furnace are either insulated or made of insulating material, so that the current can only flow through flexible blades 3 and 4.
The horns and. the dart which terminates the fork on the balance side cannot therefore cause any closure of the circuit by an accidental e: on.
The part 5 has two stops 7 and 8 limiting the approach of the slats 3 and 4. The purpose of these flexible slats is to achieve a clean, flexible and prolonged electrical contact when the fork is attacked on the escape wheel. . The mechanical contact is thus made, not on rigid parts likely to drive away under the impact and thus to harm.
regularity of operation, but on the contrary on these flexible lamellae forming a shock absorber, this device also having the advantage of making practically zero wear on the wheel and on the fork bed by eliminating the brakes.
The mechanism for transforming the reciprocating movement of the fork into a circular movement consists of, on the one hand. by two arms 9 and 10 riveted to axis 6 by the intermediary of insulating guns. these two arms cois- each carrying a control pin -11 and a stop pin 12; and. On the other hand, by an escape wheel 13 eonij @ ortant three identical teeth 14.
The function is as follows: The reciprocating movement of the balance brings one of the arms 9 or 10. the arm 1.0 for example, in contact by its pin Il with a tooth. 14 of the escape wheel, and makes it travel a sixth of a turn. At this moment, the pin 12 of the same arm comes to mobilize the wheel 13.
The active movement of the arm 10 having come to an end, it goes back. pin 12 abandons tooth 1.4 and arm 9 in turn begins its action on the escape wheel. The pin 11 comes into contact with the following tooth 14 in position to receive its impulse, and makes it travel one sixth of a turn. At this time, the pin 12 of the arm 9 comes to the wheel 13, and so on.
Fig. 4 represents a variant. identical in principle, with the mechanism shown in the fi. ? and 3. Instead of having arms and four pins. the fork, riveted via (the insulating guns sijr the G.
has two plane control faces 1.5 and IC) and two plane stop faces, 1 7 and 18, of determined orientation, cut in the metal, but which could be formed by stones or flat sapphires added, the plate of the escapement wheel comprising three equidistant pins.
Operation is. the following: Under the impulse of the balance, the face 15, for example, comes into contact with a pin 19 and makes it travel one sixth of a turn: to. At the end of this journey, the following pin 19 comes into contact with the face 17 which thus immobilizes the escape wheel. The fork then begins to move. reverse: faec 17 leaves it. pin 19 and the. flat face: 16 will act on the pin 19 in position to receive this impulse, and after it has gone through one sixth of a turn, the face 18 will come into contact with the next pin, thus immobilizing the escapement wheel. and so (the sequel.
The fi-. .5 shows a second variant of the mechanism shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. In this variant, the escapement wheel 14 is absolutely identical to that shown in fia. 2 and 3 and the operation is absolutely similar.
But it differs from this in that the fork, which does not carry pins, acts directly by the lifts 22 and 23 provided at the ends of its arms, on the teeth of the escape wheel, the control lifts 22 of the fork acting on this wheel in a manner analogous to that of the pins Il of the fi. 3, and the stop lifts 23. in a similar way Ï) that of the pins 12 of FIG. 3.
