Description

Oil firing device. The present invention relates to an oil firing device of the type in which an atomization of the oil takes place in an atomizer by means of steam generated in a special evaporator, and wherein the atomizer is arranged in the mouth of a pipe intended for the introduction of combustion air is.

In the previously known devices of this type it has been considered necessary th to mount the evaporator so that egg is touched directly by the flame of the furnace. It has been shown, however, that it is not possible with such oil firing devices to burn the heavy and cheap oils, as tar, soot and other half-burned products are sold.

This disadvantage is eliminated according to the present invention, dati the evaporator on the outside. named tube is arranged next to the atomizer in such a way that it is not directly touched by the operating flame, but is heated by its radiant heat. In this arrangement of the parts, it is possible in a preferred embodiment to keep the connecting pipe through which the steam from the United evaporator to the atomizer is very short, which is a great advantage.

to achieve a calmly burning flame, as well as to enable precise regulation of the same.

The device is particularly expediently designed in such a way that it burns with the flame pointing downwards and that! The combustion gases only flow upwards around the flame after the combustion process is complete, between it and the walls of the combustion chamber, flushing the evaporator in the process, whereby the heating of the evaporator from the outside is ensured. An example of an oil firing device according to the invention is shown in the drawing schematically and partially in section Darge.

The device shown in the drawing is used, for example, on a central heating boiler. It has a tube 2 which is bent at a right angle in the furnace and sits on a plate 16 by means of which it is mounted at the location of the furnace door.

Through the pipe 2, the combustion air is sucked in with the help of the chimney draft. One branch of the tube 2 bent at right angles is directed downwards. and it is in the mouth of the pipe a downward oil atomizer 1 is arranged. which can have any suitable construction, wherein the flame is directed downwards and the combustion gases after the combustion process around the flame, between it and the walls of the combustion chamber,

move upwards and wash around the evaporator 3 so that it is not directly touched by the flames, but is flushed and heated by the combustion gases. The evaporator 3 is attached to the outside of the pipe 2 at the same height as the atomizer 1 next to the same, so that it is not directly touched by the flame, but only heated by its radiant heat. The United steamer has a container 4, which is closed by a screwed or bolted bottom 5, wel cher from so heavy BEZW. massive material that he see in a. stores relatively large amounts of heat.

Through a narrow pipe 9, water is introduced drop by drop or in a fine jet into the evaporator 3, so that it is immediately converted into steam, which is passed through a short steam pipe 10 to the atomizer 1.

It is indicated that the pipe 9 is protected from the heat of the fire so that no steam can form therein. The pipe 9 is therefore laid inside the pipe 2 through which the combustion air flows, and is surrounded by an insulation layer 6 on the short section that is outside the pipe 2.

The pipes 9 and 10 are inserted through the wall of the container 4 in this, and the bottom 5 can be easily removed and cleaned of scale without further dismantling ments. The pipe 9 is connected to the water feed line 7.

A regulation of the ratio of the supplied quantities of combustion oil and water vapor can be achieved, for example, by not introducing more water into the evaporator than can be instantly converted into steam in it. A reduction valve 8 switched on in the meter feed line 7 ensures this. that the water is fed to the evaporator 3 under a constant pressure.

When the pressure in the evaporator 3 equals this pressure, the water supply stops, which means that the development of steam and the steam pressure drop quickly. Conversely, a reduction in the steam pressure will prompt a greater supply of water and thus an increase in the development of steam and steam pressure by keeping the evaporator in operation so warm that it immediately converts the introduced water into steam.

In order to prevent the water supply from becoming relatively large in the event of a pressure drop, a throttle valve 11 is switched on in the water feed line 7. Likewise, a return check valve 13 is turned on in the tube 9 to verhin countries. that steam can penetrate the water supply line through a strong pressure increase in the N'er steamer.

In order to avoid the formation of scale, a soft mowing filter can be switched on in the water feed line outside the boiler.

The 01 can be fed to the atomizer 1 by its own weight from a reservoir 14 placed above the boiler through a pipe 15 in which a throttle valve 12 is switched on for the purpose of regulating the oil supply. The throttle valves 11 and 12 can also serve as shut-off valves when the furnace is out of operation.

If the furnace is to be lit, the evaporator 3 must be brought to the necessary temperature in a suitable manner.

The fire can also burn with a horizontal or oblique flame, as well as the shape of the tube 2 can be chosen differently than drawn.
