In der Zeichnung bezeichnet 1 die Rück wand eines Verschlusskastens finit dein aussen angebrachten Ansatzstück 4; 2 ist die Sei tenwand des Kastens; 3 bezeichnet die Hand haben, 6 den schwenkbar am Ansatzstück 4 mit Hilfe des finit Mutter gesicherten Schrau- henbolzens 5 befestigten Abzugshebel;
For the delivery of single fire serving auxiliary device on automatic firearms, z. B. machine guns. It is known to design the trigger device on machine guns so that single fire can be given instead of series of shots. For this purpose, the deduction intended for continuous fire has been designed in advance accordingly, with the aid of further moving parts to be arranged on the machine gun, which enable the release of single fire.
In contrast to this, the auxiliary device used to deliver single fire to automatic firearms, for example machine guns according to the inven tion, can be retrofitted, for which purpose an auxiliary trigger is assigned to the trigger provided for continuous fire, which is activated when moving from the rest position a unilaterally effective locking element takes the trigger with it over a certain distance of movement. until he hits the firing pin, for the purpose of. @. u solving a shot.
has released, and the trajectories of the auxiliary trigger and the trigger intersect, whereupon the trigger Z and the auxiliary trigger return to their rest position, the locking member of the auxiliary trigger leaving the trigger ineffective.
It can thus, for example, existing machine guns in a simple manner after being set up later for the delivery of single fire BEZW. can be added.
To explain the invention, an embodiment of a recoil-operated machine gun with a toggle lock and trigger device of the push button design will now be described in detail with reference to the drawing.
Fig. 1 is a rear view of a Maschi nengewehres the Magim type with attached auxiliary device according to the invention; Fig. 2 is a partially sectioned gezeich designated side view of the same device in the rest position; Fig. 3 is a Figure 2 corresponding view of the trigger device in the operative position; 4 is a side view, partly in section, of an auxiliary device according to the invention in a machine gun of the Vickers type.
In the drawing, 1 denotes the rear wall of a locking box finitely your externally attached extension piece 4; 2 is the side wall of the box; 3 denotes the hand, 6 the trigger lever which is pivotably attached to the attachment 4 with the aid of the screw bolt 5 secured by the finite nut;
21 is the trigger plate of the trigger 6, 8 is the spring-loaded trigger safety device, which in the rest position sets the trigger lever 6 in front of it, and 7 is the compression spring which moves the trigger 6 back into the rest position locked by the safety device 8 after actuation.
In Fig. 2 and 3, 9 denotes the trigger rod, an (lc @ r the trigger (i acts directly, while in Fig. 4 the trigger 6 directly through the intermediate piece 34 and the trigger lever 37. on the trigger rod 23 works.
The auxiliary device shown has a U-shaped fitting piece 10 with the extension 26 and the spring abutment 27, the auxiliary trigger lever 12 with the wing button 24 (Fig. 1 to 3) or the auxiliary trigger plate 25 (Fig. 4) and a forked lower end to slide on same on the approach piece 26, on which the auxiliary trigger lever 12 is articulated with the help of the bolt 11, a compression spring 13,
the between the auxiliary a.bzughebel 12 and the abutment 27 is ge superimposed and the lever 12 after its loading presses back into the rest position, a pawl 14, which rotates about the pin 1 5 in an incision 28 at the top of the lever 12 is housed, a stop 16 (Fig. 1 to 3) respectively. a flat support surface 29 (Fig. 4) between the walls of the incision 28, whereby the angle of rotation of the pawl 14 is limited to the rear, and a compression spring 17 located in the lever 12.
which the pawl 14 usually against the stop 16 respectively. the bearing surface 29 presses.
The fitting piece 10 is pushed over the approach piece 4 and the lower forked end of the trigger lever 6 and fastened with the help of the screw bolt 5, the holes widened by the useful slightly up and down for vertical adjustment of the lever 12 with respect to the bolt 5 20 is inserted through and screwed tight with a nut. The pawl 14 engages in the rest position of the trigger f> and 12 over the lower edge of the trigger plate 21 in the clearly visible manner in Fig. 2 and 4.
In Fig. 3 and 4, the dotted line 18 shows the trajectory of the lower edge of the pulling plate 21 about the axis of rotation of the bolt a and the dotted line 19 the trajectory of the upper edge of the pawl 14 about the axis of rotation of the bolt 11. The intersection of the two trajectories is at 30.
The operation of this single fire device is as follows: The shooter first ent secures the trigger 6 by lifting the fuse B. Then he presses the wing:.) 4 (Fig. 1 to 3) or the plate 25 (Fig. 4) of the auxiliary trigger 12 naeli in front. so that the auxiliary trigger swivels forward around the bolt 11.
The pawl 14, respectively, against the stop 16 (Figs. 1 to 3). the support surface 29 (Fig. 4) is firmly attached. and thus during the advance of the auxiliary trigger 12 forms a rigid continuation of the same upwards, moves with its upper edge along the trajectory 19, the trigger plate 21 is initially taken.
When the auxiliary trigger 12 is pressed further, the upper edge of the pawl 14 and the lower edge of the plate 21 reach the intersection 30 of their respective trajectories 18 and 19. In this position, the firing pin is released and a shot is fired. Immediately afterwards, when the auxiliary trigger 12 is pushed through further, the nimble gives the plate and thus the trigger 6 f free, so that it springs back into its rest position (Fig. 2 and 4) following the pressure of the spring 7, before the lock is back in the firing position and another cartridge is in the barrel.
In the exemplary embodiment, the position of the intersection point 30 of the trajectories 1.8 and 19 can be changed by vertically shifting the fitting piece 10 with respect to the axis of the bolt 5, which makes it possible to see the release of the trigger by the pawl 14 on every rifle to match exactly to the moment the shot is released.
As soon as the auxiliary trigger 12 is released by the shooter, the spring 13 pushes the same back into the initial position shown in FIG. 23, which is determined by the application of the support surface 32 against the rear surface of the cap 10. Since the pawl 14 is pressed when sliding past the lower edge of the plate 21 along the path 19 into the incision of the lever 12, and then snaps up again under the pressure of the spring 17 as soon as it comes free from the plate edge.
The illustrated shape and arrangement of the trigger 6 and auxiliary trigger 12 is particularly useful because the two Ab pulls in the rest position shown in Fig. 2 and 4 do not overlap, so that the immediate actuation of the trigger plate 21 for the delivery of continuous fire through the presence of the auxiliary trigger is not difficult.
