Description
Verfahren zur sserstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem neuen Kondensationsprodukt gelangt, wenn man p-Acetamidodimethylanilin mit a,a'-Di- chlordimethyläther reagieren lässt und das er haltene Reaktionsprodukt darauf mit Thio- harnstoff umsetzt.
Die Umsetzung des aus p-Acetamido- dimethylanilin und a,ä -Di.chlordimethyläther erhältlichen Reaktionsproduktes mit dem Thioharnstoff wird zweckmässig in Gegen wart eines Lösungsmittels, wie Aceton, Al kohol, Eisessig, vorgenommen.
Das auf diese Weise entstandene neue Re aktionsprodukt ist ein bräunliches Pulver, das in Wasser klar und leicht löslich ist. Beim Erhitzen der mit Natriumacetat ver setzten Lösung des neuen Produktes scheidet sich ein schwerlösliches Zersetzungsprodukt ab. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt kann als Textilhilfsstoff, z. B. zur Erhöhung der Affinität von Fasern gegenüber sauren Farb stoffen, verwendet werden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 17,8 Gewichtsteile p-Acetamidodimethyl- anilin werden mit 84,5 Gewichtsteilen a,a'- Dichlordimethyläther unter Rühren auf<B>100</B> bis 105 erhitzt. Das p-Acetamidodimethyl- anilin geht allmählich in Lösung und die Salzsäureabspaltung setzt alsbald ein.
Mit fortschreitender Reaktion wird das Reak tionsgemisch allmählich dickflüssiger und nach etwa 15 Stunden ist die Masse zäh flüssig, und zwar so, dass das Rühren ver- unmöglicht wird. Hierauf wird der über schüssige Äther im Vakuum abdestilliert.
27 Gewichtsteile dieses Umsetzungspro duktes werden in 100 Volumteilen kaltem Alkohol gelöst und dazu eine Lösung von 9,1 Gewichtsteilen Thioharnstoff in 70 Vo- lumteilen heissem Alkohol zugesetzt. Das neue Reaktionsprodukt scheidet sich sofort aus. Nachdem das Reaktionsgemisch noch einige Zeit stehen gelassen wurde, wird die gesamte Reaktionsmasse im Vakuum zur Trockne eingedampft.
'Das auf diese Weise entstandene neue H,e- 'aktionsprodukt ist ein bräunliches Pulver, das in Wasser klar und leicht löslich ist. Beim Erhitzen der mit Natriumacetat versetzten Lösung des neuen Produktes schei det sich ein schwerlösliches Zersetzungspro dukt ab.
Process for creating a new condensation product. It has been found that a new condensation product is obtained if p-acetamidodimethylaniline is allowed to react with α, α'-dichlorodimethyl ether and the reaction product obtained is then reacted with thiourea.
The reaction of the reaction product obtainable from p-acetamido-dimethylaniline and a, a-dichlorodimethyl ether with the thiourea is expediently carried out in the presence of a solvent such as acetone, alcohol, glacial acetic acid.
The new reaction product created in this way is a brownish powder that is clear and easily soluble in water. When the sodium acetate solution of the new product is heated, a poorly soluble decomposition product is deposited. The new condensation product can be used as a textile auxiliary, e.g. B. to increase the affinity of fibers to acidic dyes can be used.
<I> Example: </I> 17.8 parts by weight of p-acetamidodimethyl aniline are heated to <B> 100 </B> to 105 with 84.5 parts by weight of α, α'-dichlorodimethyl ether while stirring. The p-acetamidodimethylaniline gradually dissolves and hydrochloric acid is soon eliminated.
As the reaction progresses, the reaction mixture gradually becomes more viscous and after about 15 hours the mass is viscous, in such a way that stirring is impossible. The excess ether is then distilled off in vacuo.
27 parts by weight of this reaction product are dissolved in 100 parts by volume of cold alcohol and a solution of 9.1 parts by weight of thiourea in 70 parts by volume of hot alcohol is added. The new reaction product is separated out immediately. After the reaction mixture has been left to stand for some time, the entire reaction mass is evaporated to dryness in vacuo.
'The new H, e-' action product created in this way is a brownish powder that is clear and easily soluble in water. When the sodium acetate solution of the new product is heated, a poorly soluble decomposition product separates out.
