Description
Fuel and process for its manufacture. The present invention relates to a fuel and to a method for its production.
According to the inventive method, loosened earth is layered in a heap and poured over several times with liquid manure, in time intervals in which the. Settle liquid manure and: the earth should dry a little. Then the pre-treated earth is poured with a soda solution, the whole thing mixed together and then pressed into smaller pieces and dried.
An advantageous form of the method for producing the fuel consists in layering ordinary garden soil in a heap and watering it with manure once or twice a week for about three weeks. After the mixture obtained in this way has dried somewhat, it is not watered. too much with a soda solution, consisting of about one part by weight of soda and about 20 parts by weight of water, and shovels the whole thing up well.
The mass obtained in this way is now pressed into smaller pieces and these are dried, after which the fuel is finished.
Depending on the size of the shaped pieces, the fuel can be burned in a similar way to briquettes, for example, or broken into smaller pieces.
As practical tests have shown, a fuel produced as described above has a calorific value of around 700 kilogram calories and can be burned very easily in a good wood fire and completely without waste.
