Reibungs-Doppelkupplung.
Friction double clutch. In motor vehicles with gear change selgetriebe it is known to use friction double clutches in which two gears of the transmission are connected by coaxially nested shafts with two different friction disks of the clutch, so that by pressing one or the other friction disk in the driving clutch part optionally two different gears can be switched on.
It has already been proposed to provide a one zige, with the driving clutch part rotating pressure plate axially displaceable between the two friction discs. The known versions of this type are disadvantageous because different positions of the clutch actuation lever or even different actuation levers are necessary for engaging the two clutches, or because the thrust bearing of the coupling sleeve is under load even when the clutch is engaged.
On the other hand, the use of a friction double clutch has already been proposed, in which both clutches can be switched on and off equally by a single actuating lever, so that the operating and handling properties of the previously common driving clutches are retained. In this version, however, two press plates with the associated operating rods are required; and an elaborate and not necessarily working electoral facility must be used.
According to the invention, a friction double clutch, in which both clutches can be switched on and off as required by actuating a single clutch lever in the same way, is achieved using only one pressure plate in that the pressure plate is radially over several, more or less on the driving coupling part on ordered levers, which can be oscillated in planes going through the coupling axis of rotation, under the action of a central coupling spring,
whereby auxiliary levers attack these radial levers, through which auxiliary levers the possibility of the spring force acting on the linkage connected between the radial levers and the pressure plate can be changed when the clutches are disengaged so that the pressure plate during the subsequent engagement by the clutch acting in the same direction in the cases spring is pressed either against one or the other friction disc. The change to be made when the clutches are switched off, the mentioned action can be done without difficulty, for. B: using an axially displaceable slip ring, inevitably happened.
It is advantageous to use a preselection device for changing the above-mentioned possibility of action. This can be done, for example, that one or more springs are tensioned by a hand lever in a known manner, which control the auxiliary lever in the sense of switching device in the position corresponding to the engagement of the other clutch, but one with the example a clutch pedal representing clutch lever verbun dene locking device still prevents this switching and only allows it when the clutch lever is disengaged.
For practical operation, it is particularly advantageous to choose the paths for the clutch lever and the locking device so that the clutch currently in effect can be engaged and disengaged with partial disengagement of the clutch lever, and the selected one only after the clutch lever has been fully disengaged other clutch is switched on.
In the drawing Ausführungsbei are illustrated games of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows schematically a longitudinal section through a double clutch in the disengaged state.
Figure 2 is a side elevation of a portion of this coupling. Fig. 3 is a section corresponding to FIG. 1 of another embodiment of the invention.
FIG. 4 shows a side elevation of part of this embodiment: FIG. 5 shows a detail of the example according to FIG.
In the illustrated Ausführungsbeispie len is attached to the motor shaft 1 of the driving coupling part, which mainly consists of the flywheel 2, the Ge housing 3 and the axially displaceable therein; but there is a press plate 5 which is also driven by bolts 4. The press plate 5 is between two friction disks 6 and 7, one of which is mounted on the hollow shaft 8 and the other on the shaft 9 mounted therein. The coaxial shafts 8 and 9 are hen in a known manner with gears not ge drawn here in connection.
On the outer circumference of the pressing plate 5, several pull and push rods 10, which are distributed over the circumference and are connected to the lever works described below, engage. The housing 3 belonging to the drive the coupling part carries in the middle a tubular extension 11 encompassing the shafts 8 and 9 with play. On this extension 11 is a non-rotatable, but axially displaceable adjusting sleeve 12 with the annular groove 1.3 in two positions stored. One arm 14 'of the adjusting lever 14 rotatable on the pin 15 engages in the annular groove 13 (FIG. 1).
On the pin 15 he is still angle lever 16; 17 ange-d, brought, the arm 16 of which is connected to the adjusting lever 14 by the spring 18. The angle lever 16, 17 can not from one; Drawn hand lever from the rod 19 can optionally be brought into the two positions I and II. According to the Stel lungs I and II of the angle lever 16, 17 seeks the spring 18 to pull the adjusting lever 14 and thus the adjusting sleeve 12 also in corre sponding positions I and II.
In the interior of the tubular extension 11, the clutch spring 20 is arranged axially. This is supported on the one hand against the edge 3 'of the housing 3 and on the other hand against a shoulder of the coupling sleeve 21. On the coupling sleeve 21, the thrust bearing 22 is angeord net, via which the coupling spring 20 can be pressed together by the release lever 23. The release lever 23 is in communication with the clutch actuation lever, not shown.
On the back lever 23 from the lever arm 23 'is seen before, which together with the rod 24, the double-armed lever 25 and the spring 26 forms a locking device which allows switching of the lever 14 only in the shown disengagement of the clutch conditions.
In the embodiment of the invention according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the pull and push rod 10 is articulated by means of the bolt 27 on the radial fork lever 28, the longitudinal center of which lies in a plane passing through the coupling axis and which with its inner head-shaped end 28 'by a Slot 29 of the tubular extension 11 engages in an opening 30 of the coupling sleeve 21. The radial cable lever 28 carries inside and outside the pivot pin 27 of the rod 10 the bolts 31 and 31 which are perpendicular to the plane mentioned
32, on which the auxiliary lever pairs 33, 34 and 35, 36 attack. These auxiliary levers are in turn rotatably mounted on pins 49 and 50. This pivot pin 49 and 50 are firmly attached to the housing 3. The inner ends of the auxiliary levers 33 to 36 engage in fork guides of four identical support levers 37, 38, 39 and 40, which are also rotatable about pins 41 and 42 provided on the housing 3. The support levers 37 to 40 are pressed by springs 43 against stops 44 on the housing 3.
These stops are set so that when all four support levers are in contact, the press plate 5 is in its neutral central position between the friction disks 6 and 7. The extensions 37 ', 38', 39 'and 40' of the support levers also interact with adjustable stops 45, 46 and 47, 48 on the adjusting sleeve 12. The stops 45, 46 on the one hand and the stops 47, 48 on the other hand are in different normal planes to the axis, so that in position I and II of the adjusting sleeve only two stops come into contact with two of the four support levers.
The device works as follows: If the clutch lever is released, the release lever 23 rotates with the lever arm 23 'under the action of the clutch spring 20 in a clockwise direction. This movement of the lever arm 23 'has the effect that the spring 26 can rotate the lever 25 in the same direction, so that it blocks the adjusting lever 14 and thus the adjusting sleeve 12 in the position I through its nose 25'. The now with expansion of the clutch spring 20 at the same time to the right shift Bende sleeve 21 takes the inner end 28 'of the radial fork lever 28 with this movement.
The bolt 31 forms a fixed fulcrum for the radial fork lever 28 because the support levers 39, 40 between the stops 44 and 45, 46 cannot move and thus also the auxiliary levers 33 and 34 that engage in them, which engage the bolt 31 to be held. The radial fork lever 28 therefore rotates counterclockwise around the pin 31 and presses the press plate 5 against the friction disk 7 by means of the rod 10. The bolt 32 at the upper end of the lever 28 can easily join this movement.
The auxiliary levers 35, 36 acting on it rotate around the fixed pins 49, 50 and take with their inner ends the support levers 37, 38 with the expansion of the corresponding springs 43 with their inner ends during the movement of the respective springs by moving these levers around the bolts 41, 42 to be turned around. After complete Einkup peln is so in the drawn Stel ment I of the adjusting sleeve 12, the shaft 9 from the motor shaft 1 on the friction disc 7 is exaggerated.
If the angle lever 16, 17 is now brought into position II in this state, the spring 18 also tries to pull the adjusting lever 14 into position II, but this is prevented by the lug 25 'of the locking lever 25, as described above . Only when the release lever 23 fully disengages the next time while the clutch spring 20 is compressed and thereby disengages the lug 25 'of the locking lever 25 via the lever arm 23' and the rod 24, the actuating lever 14 snaps under the influence of the spring 18 the new position II.
The elongated slot 24 'at the end of the rod 24 has the effect that the release lever 23 can cover most of the disengagement path without influencing the locking device through its arm 23', and that only at the end of the disengagement movement when complete Depression of the clutch pedal disengages the lock via rod 24.
The auxiliary and support levers 28 and 33 to 40 have returned to the position shown in the drawing during disengagement, but the stops 47; 48 pushed under the extensions 37 ', 38' of the support levers 37, 38 and hold them firmly, while the support levers 39, 40 are free.
Now when releasing the clutch pedal again, the clutch spring 20 pushes the clutch sleeve 21 to the right, so in turn 'the inner end 28' of the radial fork lever 28 is entrained in this movement. Since by blocking the support lever 37, 38 but the auxiliary levers 35 and 36 are immobile Lich, the pin 32 now forms the fulcrum for the radial fork lever 28, while the pin 31 can move freely.
If the radial fork lever 28 now rotates under the action of the clutch spring 20 in the counterclockwise direction around the now fixed pin 32, the press plate 5 is pressed via the rod 10 against the friction disk 6 so that the torque from the motor shaft 1 to the hollow; wave 8 is transmitted. It should be mentioned that thanks to the slot 24 ', despite the preselection of the other clutch, the clutch that is in operation can be switched off and on again: the prerequisite for this is that the clutch lever is not fully disengaged: In the example according to FIG. 3, 4 and 5, the clutch is shown again in the disengaged position.
As can be seen from FIG. 5, in this embodiment the press plate is held in its neutral central position between the friction disks 6 and 7 by pretensioned springs 51 and bolts 52 distributed around the circumference. The pull and push rod 10 connected to the press plate 5 acts on the radial lever arm 53 ′ of a three-armed lever 53. This lever 53 is rotatably mounted in a plane passing through the hitch axis on the bolt 54, which is firmly attached to the housing 3 driving e.
On the driving housing 3 is also by means of the bolts 55 and 56 and the tabs 57, 58 a straight, double-armed auxiliary lever 59 arranged to swing in the aforementioned plane, which with its inner end in an opening 12 'of the adjusting sleeve 12 engages. The adjusting sleeve 12 can be brought into two positions I and II in the same way as in the Ausfüh approximately example according to FIGS. 1 and 2 with disengaged hitch.
Here, it is optionally achieved that the outer end of the auxiliary lever 59 is directed against one or the other of the two symmetrically designed arms 53 "and 53" 'of the three-armed lever 53 that run transversely to the arm 53'.
The bearing pin 54 of the lever 53 also carries two similar angle levers 60 and 61, the longer lever arms 60 'and 61' of which engage through the slots 29 of the tubular extension 11 in openings 30 of the coupling sleeve 21. The other lever arms of the angle levers are connected to the pivot pin 55 of the auxiliary lever 59 by pull tabs 62 and 63.
The device now works as follows: The actuation of the coupling sleeve 21 by means of the coupling foot lever and the displacement of the adjusting sleeve 12 by a preselection device happen in exactly the same way as in the embodiment according to FIG. When the clutch is engaged, ie when the clutch spring 20 pushes the clutch sleeve 21 from the position shown in FIG. 3 to the right, the inner ends of the arms 60 'and 61' of the angle levers 60, 61 are at. entrained in this movement, so that these levers rotate counterclockwise about the bolt 54. Here, the La rule 62 and 63 pull the pin 55 and thus the auxiliary lever 59 approximately radially outward.
The force of the clutch spring presses depending on the position of the adjusting sleeve 12 and the dependent position of the auxiliary lever 59 against one or the other of the two lever arms 53 "and 53" 'of the three-armed lever 53. This causes the lever 53 clockwise or Turned counterclockwise and the radial lever arm 53 'presses the press plate 5 ver by means of the rod 10 against the friction disk 6 or the disk 7, so that either the shaft 9 or the hollow shaft 8 is driven by the motor shaft 1.
