Description

24"' in. Arbeitsstellung gebracht.

Process and Flachstriekmasehine for the production of sample goods. The production of modern pattern knitted goods on flat knitting machines, in which different types of knitting as well as different types of patterns follow one another in a pattern according to the pattern, is only possible automatically on such a machine which, in addition to a pattern device controlled by a cardboard chain, is also equipped with a Jaequard device. However, such a machine is also correspondingly high in its acquisition and operating costs, so that there is a need for a cheaper machine.

However, a machine that meets these requirements can only be produced if at least one of the above-mentioned automatic reversing devices can be dispensed with without the machine being significantly impaired by the pattern option.

According to the method according to the invention, this is to be achieved in that needles selected according to the pattern are influenced by at least one lock, while the plungers of others likewise pattern according to certain needles are deactivated and their associated needles are operated only by a needle lock. In particular, the needles can be distributed to the needle beds m in such a way that one needle foot row is used to produce a "two and two" knitted fabric, while another enables the needles that are out of work in this type of knitting to be operated, and the rest Rows of needle feet for further pattern-based needle operations come into effect.

The knitting machine according to the invention for practicing: this method has, for diesel-in-one purposes, feeder parts which are adjustable in this way:

are that they are used for transferring pattern according to certain needles into a transfer lock. The needles are expediently partly equipped with a high needle butt, partly with two lower needle butts, while each a pusher equipped with another needle butt can be coupled to the needles in this way,

that the needles can be moved and withdrawn from this foot and that the knitting lock, in addition to the lock and feeder parts required for stitch transfer, consists of several lock units arranged one below the other, each of these lock units being formed as a complete sample lock and both can work individually as well as in groups. The knitting needles used, each consisting of a pusher and a needle part, can be coupled to one another in at least two different positions so that the needle feet can be brought into effect by different lock units.

The use of needles consisting of a pusher and a needle part is already known per se. In the known proposal, however, the two parts cannot be coupled to one another, so that only the push forward, but not, as in the example shown, the retraction of the needle from both parts can be effected.

Furthermore, flaeh knitting machines, in which the knitting locks consist of several lock units, have already become known, but not the overall arrangement indicated in the example shown.

In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown with example embodiment. It shows: Fig. 1 to 3 each a section through the channel of a needle bed each with a different needle position and Fig. 4 is a plan view of the knitting locks, from which the lock plates are removed.

In the needle bed 1 of the needle and plunger part 2, 3 existing Na are arranged whose path is limited by the needle springs 4 downwards. The needle parts 2 are with one or two needle feet 5, 6 respectively. 6 ', of which the front one (6') can also have a greater height for cooperation with lock parts which can be adjusted in different heights. In contrast, the pusher parts 3 are each equipped with only one needle foot 7. Next to the rear needle butt 5, the needle parts 2 have an extension which is equipped with two cusps 8, 9 which can snap into two corresponding recesses 10, 11 of the pusher part 3.

The knitting lock is provided with four interlocking lock units, which are arranged in a known manner from the lock means 12, the countersink 13, 13 ', 14, 14' with, as well as the buoyancy parts 15, 16 to 15 "', 16" 'and the associated catch parts 17, 17 "' exist. The pusher lock is also equipped with the needle core 18, 18 ', which can also be adjusted in a manner known per se in such a way that they interact with the needle countersinkers 13, 13 'of different length meshes are produced. The lock parts 19 to 23 form the shoulder lock and the lock parts 24 to 24 "' are the feeder parts for this lock.

The method according to the invention is carried out in the following way: It is assumed that a product is to be produced that begins with a 2 X 2 edge and then goes into a web of material that is mainly made on only one needle bed, but on the one hand by breakthrough patterns and on the other hand by a number of right-right stitches that are adjacent to each other in different widths.

The needle parts 2 are inserted in both needle beds in such a way that the rear needle feet 5 are arranged in the manner required to produce a 2 X 2 fabric, that is, in a consecutive order, two needles are in action be brought, and one remains inactive.

   - Since almost every knitted fabric begins with a 2 X 2 edge, this needle arrangement remains with every other knitting art. In addition, however, all the needles which remain inactive during the production of a 2 ¿2 edge have a higher foot 6 'at the front (Fig. 1), the purpose of which is explained below.

To produce the aforementioned goods, those pusher parts 3, the needle part 2 of which will later be used for the opening patterning, with the humps 8 or 9 of the needle parts 2 are now on the rear needle bed. Since according to the number of humps respectively. Recesses 10, 11 a coupling in two different Stellun conditions is possible, two completely different patterns from one another can be made in front of the fact that the pusher parts 3 correspond to these patterns with the humps 8 or 9 (Fig. 1 and 2) the needle parts 2 are coupled.

The needle parts 2, which are not used for the perforation pattern, also do not require a pusher part 3. These are pulled much more downwards (Fig. 3) so that they disengage from the lock parts. Likewise, almost all pusher parts 3 of the front needle bed are put out of action and only those that are to be used to produce a right-right stitch wale are coupled to the needle parts 2. Here, too, it is of course possible to use two completely different nadol groupings depending on the coupling point selected.

The hook lock or the lock locks of both needle beds are then initially set in such a way that, in addition to the lock middle part 12 and the associated needle countersink, only the lock unit 15 'to 17' are in and all other lock parts are out of action. As a result of the above-described arrangement of the needle feet 5, a 2 ¿2 edge is therefore first worked. Once this is completed, the lock of the front needle bed is changed over by the pattern device of the machine in such a way that all needles that have previously worked on the front needle bed are inserted into the padlock 19 to 21 through the feeder part 24 '.

With the lock of the rear needle bed, the cap lock part 22 is brought into the working position, which causes all needles to be inserted into the cap lock 22, 23. By the following carriage pull carried out in the direction of arrow A, the stitches that were made in the previous row on the front needle bed are therefore overhanged in a known manner onto the needles of the rear needle bed. The lock is then switched over again in such a way that the needles of the rear needle bed are actuated by the needle lock units 15 to 17. If all other parts of the lock are out of action, only a simple, smooth knitted fabric is produced on the rear needle bed.

If, however, the pusher bolt unit 15 "to 17" or the pusher lock unit 15 "'to 17"' of the front needle bed comes into effect, the pusher parts 3 coupled with the needle share 2 are brought into working position so that their associated needle parts Use the needles on the rear needle bed to knit right-to-right wales together. The result is a product made on a needle bed, which is interrupted by right-right wales according to the pattern.

In a corresponding manner, these goods can then also be provided with breakthrough patterns. Another lock conversion will be in, the front. Locked the transfer lock parts 22 and brought the feeder parts 24 "and 24" 'into the working position.

When pulling the carriage, in the opposite direction to arrow A, all needles of the front needle bed are brought forward in the takeover position, while the patterns according to the selected needles of the rear needle bed advance to the transfer position and their stitches are transferred to the needles of the front needle bed. Repeated reassignment thus creates the desired cross-sectional patterns in the above-described goods.

The production of any other sample goods also takes place in accordance with the process described, with needles selected according to the pattern being influenced in a similar manner by a needle and / or a pusher lock, while the pusher of other needles, also needles determined according to the pattern, are inactive. The goods described can be produced with both a single and a double lock machine.

In order to be able to change from a right-hand knitted fabric to a 2 ¿2-knitted fabric within a web, it is necessary that those needles that are inactive in the latter type of knitting first place their stitches on the needles of the opposite needle bed transfer.

tn en So that this is also possible, as already indicated above, the relevant needles are equipped with a higher needle butt 6 '. Further, the feeder parts 24 can be brought into such a position that they only introduce these needles into the transfer locks 19, 21 and effect their mesh transfer. In the case of a transition from right-right to 2 ¿2 knitted fabric, these parts first come into operation, and after the stitches have been transferred, work continues in the manner described.
