Description
Zusatzpatent zum. Hauptpatent Nr. 231495. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefelfarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1-p-Toluido-anthrachinon mit einem schwe felnden Mittel in Gegenwart einer Kupfer- verbindung behandelt und die dabei erhaltene Rohschmelze unter Verwendung von Schwe felalkali aufschliesst.
Der so erhaltene Schwefelfarbstoff ist ein dunkles Pulver und färbt die pflanzliche Faser aus dem Schwefelnatriumbad in echten alivstiohvg grauen Tönen, insbesondere von einer sehr guten Lichtechtheit. <I>Beispiel:</I> Zu einer Schmelze von 12 Teilen Schwe fel in 150 Teilen Chlorschwefel werden all mählich 40 Teile 1-p-Toluido-anthrachinon bei 70 bis 80 eingetragen. Man heizt lang sam auf 150 , kocht 1 Stunde unter Rück fluss und destilliert dann bis zur Trockne. Das Trockengut wird mit 10 Teilen Kupfer- vitriol und 10 Teilen Schwefel vermischt und 8 Stunden auf 270 erhitzt.
Durch Nach behandlung mit Schwefelnatrium und Lauge wird der Farbstoff in üblicher Weise auf geschlossen.

The sulfur dye obtained in this way is a dark powder and colors the vegetable fibers from the sulfur sodium bath in genuine alivstiohvg gray tones, in particular of very good lightfastness. <I> Example: </I> 40 parts of 1-p-toluido-anthraquinone at 70 to 80 are gradually added to a melt of 12 parts of sulfur in 150 parts of chlorosulphur. The mixture is heated slowly to 150, refluxed for 1 hour and then distilled to dryness. The dry material is mixed with 10 parts of copper vitriol and 10 parts of sulfur and heated to 270 for 8 hours.
After treatment with sodium sulphide and alkali, the dye is closed in the usual way.
