Description

         

      -Verfahren    zur Herstellung eines neuen     Kondensationsproduktes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem  neuen Kondensationsprodukt gelangt, wenn  man 1     Mol        techn.        1-Phenyl-3-methylpyrazo-          lon-4'-sulfonsäure    in Gegenwart eines säure  bindenden Mittels mit 2     Mol        2-Chlormethvl-          eymol    umsetzt.  



  Die Umsetzung wird zweckmässig in der  Wärme, z. B. bei 65-70 , vorgenommen, wo  bei man als säurebindendes Mittel vorteilhaft  eine wässerige     Natriumhydroxydlösung    ver  wendet.  



  Das neue Kondensationsprodukt stellt in  Form des     Natriumsalzes    eine amorphe, leicht       pulverisierbare    Masse dar, die in Wasser  ziemlich leicht löslich ist, und deren wässerige  Lösungen ein ausgezeichnetes Netzvermögen  besitzen. Es kann als     T'extilhilfsstoff,        z.B.    als  Netzmittel, Anwendung finden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  15,8 Gewichtsteile fein pulverisierte     techn.     1-     Phenyl-        3-methylpyrazolon-4'-        sulfonsäure     (enthaltend 80,6 % reine .Säure) werden in  25 Gewichtsteilen Wasser aufgeschlämmt,    mit     4-fach    normaler Natronlauge neutralisiert.  und die dabei entstehende Lösung schwach  alkalisch gestellt. Hierauf lässt man unter  Rühren innerhalb 2 Stunden bei 65-70   18,2 Gewichtsteile     2-Chlormethyl-cymol    zu  fliessen, wobei durch Zusatz von Natrium  hydroxydlösung das Reaktionsgemisch stets  sehwach alkalisch gehalten wird.  



  Das Reaktionsgemisch wird bei 65-700  so lange gerührt, bis eine Probe desselben in  Wasser klar löslich ist und auch beim Kochen  klar bleibt, was nach etwa 6-10     Stunden     der Fall ist.  



  Die Reaktionslösung wird sodann neutra  lisiert, zur Trockne eingedampft und der  Rückstand mit Alkohol extrahiert. Nach dem  Verdampfen des alkoholischen Extraktes er  hält man das neue     Pyrazolonderivat    als amor  phen, leicht     pulverisierbaren    Rückstand. Das  so erhaltene Produkt bildet ein in     Wasser     ziemlich leicht lösliches Pulver, dessen wäs  serige Lösung ein ausgezeichnetes Netzver  mögen besitzt.

  The new condensation product in the form of the sodium salt is an amorphous, easily pulverizable mass which is fairly easily soluble in water and whose aqueous solutions have excellent wetting properties. It can be used as a textile auxiliary, e.g. as a wetting agent, use.



  <I> Example: </I> 15.8 parts by weight of finely powdered techn. 1- phenyl-3-methylpyrazolone-4'-sulfonic acid (containing 80.6% pure acid) are suspended in 25 parts by weight of water and neutralized with 4-fold normal sodium hydroxide solution. and the resulting solution was made slightly alkaline. Then, while stirring, 18.2 parts by weight of 2-chloromethyl-cymene are allowed to flow at 65-70 in the course of 2 hours, the reaction mixture always being kept slightly alkaline by adding sodium hydroxide solution.



  The reaction mixture is stirred at 65-700 until a sample of the same is clearly soluble in water and remains clear even when boiled, which is the case after about 6-10 hours.



  The reaction solution is then neutralized, evaporated to dryness and the residue extracted with alcohol. After the alcoholic extract has evaporated, the new pyrazolone derivative is kept as amorphous, easily pulverizable residue. The product thus obtained forms a powder which is fairly easily soluble in water and whose aqueous solution has excellent wetting properties.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man 1 Mol teehn. 1-Plienyl-:3- methylpyrazolon-4'-sulfonsäure in Gegenwart eines säurebindenden Mittels finit 2 Mol 2-Chlormetyl-cymol umsetzt. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt stellt in Form des Natriumsalzes eine amorphe, leielit pulverisierbare Masse dar, die in Wasser ziemlich leicht löslich ist, und deren wässe rige Lösungen ein ausgezeichnetes Netzver mögen besitzen.
