Automatic to turning machine. The object of the invention is an automatic to turning machine comprising several tool holders arranged in a fan shape. This automatic lathe is characterized, according to the invention, in that all of these tool holders. are mounted on a single support also carrying the levers for actuating the tool-holders, themselves controlled by the cams of a single with camshaft.
The appended -drawing represents, to by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
The, fig. 1 shows the closed assembly of tool holders and the means for actuating the latter of an automatic lathe to be turned, and FIG. 2 is a fragmentary side view corresponding to FIG. 1. The automatic lathe following fi, -. 1 and 2 comprises a support a on which are mounted, in a fan-and in a sliding manner, -all the tool holders F, b 2, b3, b 4, b5 and b 'of the bar turning machine.
The movement of these tool holders in the longitudinal direction is effected by means of. levers. actuation é, c, c ', c', c 'and c', all these being pivotally mounted also on the support a and moving the respective tool carriers against the action of opposing springs - which are not, shown here. The control of all these actuating levers takes place by firing a single camshaft d arranged in the longitudinal direction, laterally with respect to the frame of the machine.
The actuating levers c ', c, c' and e are in contact by one of their ends each carrying a key, with the cams; d ', d', d 'and d' (fig. 2), while with the other of their ends they act, via an adjusting screw, on the respective tool holders - to move them to the center, against recall spells not shown.
The advance of the tool holder b ' is linked, in a similar manner, by means of a lever c' pivotally mounted at e, this lever bearing unlike the levers d ' à d', two keys, -pressed on the periphery of two cams d' and d ' intended to control, together, the lever c2. The lever & acts, for its part, by -a relatively short arm c7, on the tool holder b 'respectively on a key fixed to it, to advance it towards the center, as it is said above, up .
A counter-arm c 'of this lever forms a stop, with which cooperates an adjusting screw i making it possible to limit the retrograde travel of the lever c2. While the tool holders, b ' to b' are all advanced by the respective actuating levers - and, received by the return springs, - these conditions -displacement are just the opposite, as regards the tool holder V, this one being advanced by a control spring (not shown) and brought back to its rear position by the lever d 'actuation c' which swivels in. f. This lever also has two buttons and is controlled by two cams d, 'and d'.
It acts by a relatively short lever arm c 'on the tool holder b' to move it back. The advance stroke of the tool holder b ' -is limited by an adjustment screw g, while an adjustment screw h serves to limit the reduction sement of the end of the lever e ', cooperating with the cams d' and d2 '.
