Description
Rohrverbindung.
Gummimischungen in Frage.
Pipe connection. Lines made of ceramic and other material are usually joined together by means of a sleeve, with the pipe parts engaging one another being connected with a hard sealing material. In practice, however, this connection has not always been satisfactory because it does not ensure sufficient liquid density. Experience has shown that the liquid sometimes seeps through between the pipe wall and the sealing material.
These disadvantages are eliminated with the present invention. The same applies to a pipe connection in which a sleeve engages over the pipe end and the space between the sleeve and pipe end is filled with a sealing compound, with notches on the inside of the sleeve and on the outside of the pipe end that run around the circumference and widen towards the depth.
These tans interrupt the surface of the pipe wall and thus make it difficult for the liquid to pass through. In the case of ceramic pipes, the liquid density can be increased by removing the glaze in the tannins in order to achieve a better connection between the glazing material and the pipe wall.
A complete liquid density is achieved when the tannins are filled with a soft, elastic sealant's rule, but otherwise a hard, tightly connecting sealing material with the soft sealing material is used. Such a connection remains even with movements or. Dehnun gene the pipe ends tight. As a soft sealing compound come z. B. Asphalt respectively. mixtures containing asphalt or rubber respectively. Rubber compounds in question.
As a har tes sealing material z. B. cements, putties and synthetic resin-based masses are used.
The drawing shows an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention. Socket 1 and pipe end 2 are joined together to form a pipe connection. They have notches 3 on the opposite sides, which are arranged in a ring and widened in depth. The space 4 together with the tannins is used to accommodate the sealing material.
