Spray. The subject of the invention is a vaporizer, the appended drawing of which represents, for as dl example, an embodiment.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view of said embodiment, the pump being shown in diametral section.
Fig. 2 is a diametrical sectional view of the spray head of the vaporizer.
Fig. 3 is an overhead view of the said head.
Fig. 4 is an elevational view of the cylinder of the pump.
Fig. 5 shows, in plan and in section, a plate mounted near the open end of this cylinder.
Fig. 6 is a section through VI-VI of fig. It the piston and its axis being supposed to be removed.
Fig. 7 is a diametrical section of the piston axis.
Fig. 8 is a diametral section of the piston separated from its axis ,.
Fig. 9 is an elevation of an accessory consisting of a tube that can be connected to the closed end of the pump cylinder, instead of a pipe removable going to the projection head, when you want to use the pump alone, as a watchmaker's pump.
The represented vaporizer comprises a bottle intended to contain a perfume or brilliantine, and on the neck of which is screwed a projection head 1 connected by a flexible pipe 2 < B> at the closed end of a cylinder liner to of an interchangeable piston pump. Line 2 is removably connected to cylinder 5, au. by means of a washer 3 and a nut 4 screwed onto the threaded end of the pipe 2.
The pump piston consists of a seal 8 clamped between, two pads 7 and 9 of smaller diameter than the seal, this, piston being mounted at the end of a pin 12 by means of a screw 6 passing through a central hole provided in the seal and the plates, this screw 6 screwed into a threaded hole provided in axis 12 over its entire length.
Shaft 12 also passes through a hole in the center of a 10 plate mounted near the end or green of the cylinder 5. The other end of the shaft 12 has a frustoconical orifice bearing on the frustoconical rim of an orifice provided at the bottom of a cap 11. A screw 14 is screwed into this end of the axis 12 and fixes this axis at the bottom of the cap 1.1. The latter is capable of sliding on the cylinder 5. A spring 13 is placed at </ B> the inside of the shell It and rests, on the one hand, against the bottom of the shell 11 and, on the other hand, on the plate 10. This spring has the effect of normally maintaining the piston in the position shown in fig. 1,
that is to say applied against the plate 10. By acting on the cap 11, against the action of the spring < B> 13, the piston is moved in the cylinder, this piston being guided in its movement by the fact that the piston pin is guided in the opening of the plate 10, while the cap is guided by the walls of the cylinder 5. When the cap 11 is released, it is returned, with the piston, to the position of fig. 1, by the action of the spring 13.
The plate 10 is rectangular in shape and is inserted into two slots 10 ', provided in the wall of the cylinder 5, near the 'open end thereof, these slits being parallel to the edge of said end, and being of the same width and of the same thickness as the plate 10. This is hand held in position in the slots 10 ' by the walls of the shell It sliding on the cy- liner 5.
As seen in fig. 2, the projection head has a 16 aspiration tube centered with respect to the thread of this head, so that it is possible to screw this head on the bottles having a very small orifice Release. The spray head has, among other things, on its periphery, a recovery basin 17, in which the liquid which can ooze is collected, this liquid being led into the bottle by a small channel < B> 18 making the bottom of the bowl 17 communicate with the inside of the projection head.
Fig. 9 shows a small tronconi tube that can be screwed into the closed end of the cylinder 5, in place of line 2, when the vaporizer pump must be used as a watchmaker's pump.
